Ich wollte euch gerne mal das ROM vorstellen, dass ich zurzeit nutze. Ich nutze es, da es wirklich, wirklich schnell und stabil ist. Seit ich es nutze habe ich keine random reboots mehr.

Anmerkungen:

Wipen muss nicht unbedingt sein, man kann es ohne Wipe probieren. Speziell wenn man von Cyanogen kommt klappt es meist ohne Probleme.

Der aller erste Bootvorgang kann lange dauern, wenn man viele Apps hat, da ZipAlign seine Arbeit verrichtet und die Apps nachher auch noch überprüft werden.

Dies lässt sich leicht beheben, allerdings kann es sein, dass man Apps neu konfigurieren muss. Systemeinstellungen bleiben allerdings erhalten!:

Probleme mit Themes

Themes laufen mal, mal laufen sie nicht.

Müsste man probieren, sollte aber eigentlich gehen, man hat halt u.U. ein paar App's mehr.
Wenn man nur den 10mb Hack behalten wollte, müsste man CM installieren, und dann halt nochmal das boot.img separat wechseln.

Teils Teils, manche laufen, manche laufen nicht. Eine Liste mit funktionierenden gibt es noch nicht.

Locales? Also z.B. im wecker stehen die tage oder auch nur 1,2,3,4....

Weiss ich nicht, da ich es auf English habe, aber ich glaube nicht das WG daran gebastelt hat, deshalb ist davon aus-zu-gehen, dass nur Zahlen stehen.

Hallo, ich hab's zwar erst ca. 2 Std. drauf aber läuft bis jetzt einwandfrei. Ob's wirklich schneller ist gegenüber dem "originalen" Cyanogen mag ich bis jetzt noch nicht beurteilen.

Sie WAR drinn, allerdings hat er sie in Build 8.2 R2.2 leider wieder herausgenommen, da es in den USA zu Problemen führte. Allerdings will er es wieder einfügen, für die Europäer, hier klappte es ja

Edit: (13.12.2009) Ich würde das von mir verlinkte ROM nicht mehr nutzen, da mittlerweile eine neue Version von Wes draussen ist, welches die von mir genannten Sachen auch umgesetzt hat + noch einige Bugfixes usw...

Ich habe mal das neuste Update etwas meinen Bedürfnissen angepasst, wers ausprobieren möchte, bitte sehr, keine grossen Veränderungen.

Allerdings kann man nicht auf 8.3r2 updaten. Wieso nicht?
8.3r2 ist ein inkrementelles Update welches ein Problem im boot.img beheben soll. Da hier aber ein völlig anderes boot.img verwendet wird, würde dieses inkrementelle Update überhaupt keinen Sinn machen.

bei cm hab ich den bug dass wenn ich nur auf vibration oder lautlos stelle und mich jemand anruft, dann schaltet sich mein handy in flugmodus....und dann muss ich pin wieder eingeben....

allerdings auch nicht immer...aber anscheinend ist das ein bekannter bug von cm.

kannst du das mal bei dir nachprüfen obs auch passiert?? wenn nicht, dann hätte ich ein neues rom, denn "nur vibrieren" hab ich immer in der arbeit, das brauch ich da, weil es eben lautlos gehen soll....

soweit ich weiß ist der datumsbug auch erst seit der 4.2.6 oder? und nirgens steht das er nicht gerade die 4.2.5 als grundmaterial genommen hat wo er noch nicht vorhanden ist. oder hab ich was übersehen?

Diesen Bug hatte ich überhaupt noch nie, bei keiner CM-Version und habe ihn auch jetzt nicht.

Ich werde es gleich mal testen. Allerdings gab es quasi zeitgleich eine neue Version von Cyanogen. Mal schauen wie schnell diese von Wes umgesetzt wird.

Also die 8.5 bootet auch nach 20 Minuten warten nicht. Ich seh immer nur dass T-Mobile Logo. Hab wieder die neue Cyano geflasht (dafür muss dann vorher der Akku raus da das Ding ja nicht bootet)

Ok, 20 min sind wirklich heftig, solange hatte nicht mal mein erstes Eclair 2.1 Hero von Eugene zum booten
Helfen kann ich dir da allerdings leider auch nicht

Aber ich hab mich mal drann gesetzt und mir ne neue Version gebastelt, wer sie haben möchte, bitte, bedient euch unten bei den Links.

Was ich gemacht habe:

• Basiert auf WG Build 8.5
• Habe das BFS Boot.img von Cyanogen 4.2.8 eingespielt
• Amazon.mp3.apk entfernt
• Market auf 1.66 geupdatet (1.7(1) funktioniert leider nicht)
• Habe Meltu's Audiomod angewendet mit v2r2+headset boost
• build.trout.prop verändert für schnelleres EDGE+HSPA
• praktisch alle ringtones gelöscht! Einige wenige vorhanden, welche dafür stark optimiert wurden!
• Adv Launcher stand alone entfernt und mit adv.Launcher replacement (Hero-Themed) ersetzt
  
• evtl. noch mehr was ich aber vergessen habe :S

Hrmpf, was hat der auch so viele Versionen
Ich hatte die Version mit dem GMaps udn die bootete nicht, hab nun die "normale" und es geht. Sehe aber weiter kaum einen Unterschied zu Cyano - außer das Themes kaum gehen weil es nur wenige gibt.
