Update-Diskussionen zum Galaxy Tab S6 Lite

Auch für das Lite-Modell vom Galaxy Tab S6 wird es natürlich Updates geben.

Dieser Thread soll daher als Sammelstelle der Diskussionen dienen.

Bei mir ist heute der Mai Patch angekommen. Ausserdem gibt es jetzt Double Tab Wakeup. Was unter SPen Übersetzung verstanden wird, habe ich noch nicht ergründet.

Das Update P610XXU1ATEA wird wohl ausgerollt. Es umfasst auch das Juni-Sicherheitsupdate:

• The following functions have been updated: Home screen, Camera, Phone, Contacts, Keyboard
• The stability of GPS has been improved.
• The stability of Light sensor has been improved.
• Wi-Fi connectivity and stability have been improved.

Das Sicherheitspatch Juni war zuvor schon installiert und wird immer noch als Juni gezeigt.

Ist das erste Samsung Tablet, das ich habe. Wie sieht es denn da mit einem Update-Fahrplan seitens Samsung aus ?
Ist da was offizielles kommuniziert worden ?
Wie häufig bzw. regelmäßig ist mit Updates/Sicherheitspatches zu rechnen und wie lange wird es wohl versorgt werden ?

Samsung versorgt das Modell alle drei Monate mit Sicherheitsupdate. Es sind bisher vier Updates erschienen und es sind wohl 2 große Android-Hauptversionen geplant, sofern Samsung seine Pläne nicht geändert hat.

Es scheint Samsung hat die Pläne doch geändert:

Für das Tab S6 Lite sind nämlich drei Android-Hauptversionen geplant, sprich Android 11,12 und 13.

Der Vollständigkeit wegen, hier noch der Changelog für das zusätzliche September-Update (P610XXU2BTI3):

Wi-Fi
- If quality information on nearby Wi-Fi routers can be measured, this information will appear as Very Fast, Fast, Normal, or Slow.
* This feature can be turned on or off in "Network Quality Information Display" settings.
- When attempting to access a Wi-Fi router with a password, a newly added feature now allows the user to request the password of the Wi-Fi router from someone nearby who is saved in their contact list and has already connected to that router.
* The "Request Password" button will appear on the Wi-Fi password input screen when you can request a password.

Samsung keyboard
- A new feature has been added to the keyboard search feature that allows the user to search YouTube.
- The search function of the "Manage Input Languages" screen in the Keyboard Settings page has been newly updated to make it easy to find keyboard input languages that the user wishes to add or delete.

Multi window
- The screen can now be split into 3 section.

Added new feature.
- Game Launcher
- Edge panel
- Estimated charging time : Displays the remaining time until the battery is completely charged.

Heute kam das Update für November. Leider kein Screenshot, weil ich immer noch nicht weiß wie das funzt. Wischen geht nicht, so wie ich von Samsung gewohnt. LTE- Variante.

Laut Samsung Ägypten wird Android 11 + One UI 3.0 im Mai 2021 erscheinen.
