Hier mal ein Testbericht von einem, der das Note 4 bei Best Buy in Amerika kurz ausprobiert hat:


"I played with the frost white model at my local Best Buy, yesterday. They had three working models. Very beautiful phone. The little metal trim really adds a lot to the niceness of the phone. I was most impressed with the crispness of the screen, how extremely loud the speaker was — despite the rear placement, and how beautiful 4K photos and videos looked on the device. You can definitely see the screen quality difference between the Note 3 & 4, when watching the 4K demo videos on the Note 4. Just completely breathtaking!! I was sick of seeing nothing but the same, boring, stock blue static wallpaper found in every single review, so I changed it to the vibrant wallpaper in the photo I included, and I also changed it to one of the blue phase beam live wallpapers on the phone. Gorgeous!

Also, the faux leather backing on the Note 4 feels more like the black faux leather backing of the Note 3... not that extra firm hard plastic feel, found on the current white Note 3. The camera was nice, and I love the out-of-focus shot abilities, where you can enhance a portion of a photo, and blur out other portions. The wide-angle selfie mode was very nice, as well. The UI improvements are very nice, and more modern looking than what's found on the Note 3's 4.4.3 UI.

Overall, I was ready to upgrade, but I'm going to hold off due to a serious concern someone posted on here, about how 1080p movies would actually look on the Note 4. There seems to be some controversy as to whether or not the qHD screen would actually render 1080p movies better or worse than the Note 3. Taking that out of the equation, it would be worth the Next 12 upgrade for me."

Ich habe das mal schnell übersetzt:

Ich habe gestern mit dem Weißen Note 4 in meinem lokalen Best Buy herum gespielt. Sie hatten drei funktionierende Ausstellungsstücke.
Ein sehr schönes Handy.
Der Metallrahmen trägt wirklich einiges zum Gefallen des Handys bei.
Am meisten war ich von der schärfe vom Bildschirm beeindruckt, wie extrem laut der Lautsprecher ist (trotz der rückseitigen Anordnung), und wie wunderschön 4K Fotos und Videos auf dem Gerät aussehen.
Man kann deutlich den Qualitätsunterschied vom Display zwischen dem Note 3 und Note 4 sehen wenn man sich die 4K Demo Videos mal auf dem Note 4 ansieht. Einfach atemberaubend!

Ich hatte es satt, immer nur das gleiche, blaue, statische Hintergrundbild wie in jedem Review zu sehen. Also habe ich es gegen das farbenfrohe Hintergrundbild (siehe Anhang) getauscht, und auch das Blue Phase Beam Live Wallpaper probiert. Traumhaft!

Auch das Weiß Kunstleder auf der Rückseite vom Note 4 fühlt sich mehr wie das Schwarze vom Note 3 an. Nicht wie dieses Plastik-Gefühl wie beim Weißen Note 3.
Die Kamera ist fein, und ich finde das Unschärfe-Feature toll, womit man einen Teil vom Foto hervorheben und andere Teile mit Unschärfe trüben kann.
Der Weitwinkel Selfie-Modus ist auch sehr toll.
Die Verbesserungen der Benutzeroberfläche sind sehr gut und es sieht moderner aus als am Note 4 mit 4.4.3.

Insgesamt wäre ich bereit auf das Note 4 aufzurüsten, aber ich halte mich noch zurück, aufgrund ernster Bedenken die hier jemand geäußert hat, wie 1080p Filme tatsächlich auf dem (QHD Bildschirm des) Note 4 aussehen.

Es scheint umstritten zu sein, ob der QHD Bildschirm 1080p Filme tatsächlich besser wiedergibt als das Note 3. *
Wenn man das mal außer Acht lässt, wäre es auf jeden Fall wert, auf das Note 4 umzusteigen.

* Anmerkung von mir (Bluebrain): Er meint damit, weil 1080p Videos die gleiche, native Auflösung vom Note 3 haben. Es muss also nichts umberechnet werden.
Das Display vom Note 4 ist zwar höher auflösend, die Pixel vom Video können dadurch aber nicht mehr 1:1 am Bildschirm dargestellt werden, sondern das Video muss umgerechnet bzw. interpoliert werden für die Fullscreen Darstellung.
Einige befürchten, dass durch diese Umrechnung Detail- oder Qualitätsverluste einhergehen könnten.

Meine Meinung dazu: das Display vom Note 4 ist mit der QHD Auflösung dermaßen scharf, dass man mit dem freuen Auge keine Unterschiede dazu ausmachen kann.

Zum Test habe ich noch ein Bilder angehängt. (Hinweis: nach dem vergrößern zur Ansicht nochmal klicken und ggf. noch ein drittes mal für 1:1 Darstellung am Monitor!)
Es zeigt einen Ausschnitt eines 1080p Videos und den gleichen Ausschnitt, jedoch auf QHD hochgerechnet.
Ich kann bei bestem Willen keinen Detail- oder Qualitätsverlust feststellen.
Ein Vergleich auf diese Weise ist aber auch nicht ganz korrekt, denn die Auflösung von dem Bildschirm mit dem Ihr das hier anschaut, ist ja über das ganze Display identisch, die Pixeldichte vom Note 4 ist jedoch höher als vom Note 3 - dadurch fallen solche winzigen Details aber ohnedies weniger auf am Note 4, bzw. sind mit freiem Auge gar nicht erkennbar. (515ppi !!!)
Die Bedenken deswegen halte ich also wirklich für nicht zutreffend.

" just came back from my local best buy to check the Note 4 and in all honesty, i'm blown away. The display on that thing is absolutely OUT OF THIS WORLD! I watched pretty much all the hands on videos and i thought the wallpaper they were using was ugly but in person its totally different, it is the best display i have ever seen. SO freaking sharp, colors are absolutely amazing and the display is bright. The speaker is loud as hell, love the wide angle front facing camera. The metal rim around the phone is perfect, it gives it a nice look and grip. I think its the perfect blend of metal and plastic. I dont think i'll use a case for this note cause it feels very sturdy in hand. But that display OMG man i seriously was blown away. Personally i dont understand folks that say that you dont notice the difference between 1080p and QHD, to me its night and day. SO SO sharp. They also had the note 3 so i looked at it after the note 4 and it looked like crap honestly, and the old touchwiz is ugly. I think the Note 4 is a major win, im so happy i returned my iphone 6, there is just no question that this is much better. "

Hatte das auch noch bei keinem Gerät. Auch bei mir würde solch ein Gerät sofort zurück gehen. Das geht einfach nicht.
Mal sehen wie viele Geräte das betrifft aber hat Samsung keine anständige Kontrolle?
Zur Zeit sind das auch keine Massen die sie verkaufen.

Mal sehe wie sich das auf das release Date auswirkt bzw. ob sie überhaupt etwas unternehmen oder Geräte mit ähnlichen Problemen auch hier verkaufen.

Blatt Papier hat bei jedem irgendwo reingepasst..
Verstehe jetzt die Aufregung beim Note 4 nicht.
