No i didnt rooted my mobile. Simply i format my mobile (wipe Data / Wipe cache / Wipe Delvik) and installed the latest CM12 ROM - (CM-12-20150118). There is a option available in setting "SuperSU". Here i am attaching the snap shot.
Please help me if any thing i did wrong.

Why do you need SuperSU in the first place? How did you flash SuperSU? Have you activated root from developer settings?

Hallo an alle. Ich glaube ich habe Mist gebaut. Ich habe die Links in Silesh's Unterschrift geklickt und habe die Kernel Datei installiert weil ich dachte er hat die CM12 Datei irgendwie umbenannt oder so. Und jetzt bootet mein Handy nicht mehr. Es geht zwar an aber ich sehe immer nur die Boot animation. Ich habe ca 30min gewartet aber nix. Dann bin ich wieder in recovery gegangen und habe alles ge-wiped cache, dalvik cache, data und system und habe eine andere ROM geflasht aber es ist immer noch das gleiche. Ist mein Handy noch zu retten? Sorry für die blöde Frage


Hello everyone, I think I made a mistake. I followed the links in Silesh's signature and installed the kernel file, thinking he renamed it or sthg. Now the phone won't boot up. It stays on the boot image and that's all. I've tried again and again to wipe everything in recovery and install even liquid smooth just to make it work again but with the same results. Is there any way I can fix this? Sorry to take your time but I'm stuck

Ich hatte Silesh's resurrection remix. Habe auch ein backup gemacht mit phils touch. Aber dann habe ich über Odin TWRP recovery installiert und mein backup wird nicht mehr erkannt ??

Nein, anderes Recovery Menü, da geht das nicht.
Entweder, Du flasht Dir den Philz noch mal ...
oder machst alles ganz neu.
Aber keine Bange, solange Du da rein kommst, iss immer gute Hoffnung

PhilZ Recovery ist ein ClockworkMod-Recovery....dort werden die Backups im .tar-Format angelegt - TWRP verwendet ein anderes Format und erkennt deswegen die CWM-Backups nicht.

Installiere dir wieder das PhilZ-Recovery...dann solltest du dein Backup wieder herstellen können.

@sileshn Just wanted to report about this build since its been 2 weeks now and im using it daily.
So first of all im going to start with the KIND of Not working/bugged things.:

• Mobile Network Drops randomly(Not only 3g/HSDPA/LTE its the full network that is dropping, i get no signal randomly, and even when im suppose to have full signal)

• Wifi drop(but this can be also a router problem so need to test it out)

• Battery Drain(Its not huge, but when i use SetCPU to minimize the CPU speed at the lowest when the screen is off, the battery last definilty 3-4 hours longer). But still with using setcpu its not complete, im on lowest screenlight, button lights off, running on wifi(mobile network off) im getting 12~15(15 with setcpu)hours really hard without even using my phone.

• Screen recording according to the resolution of the screen it doesnt fit when im recording. For example when im recording 1280 x 720 the bottom of the screen isnt showing and as far as i know the resolution is 1280 x 720 right (correct me if im wrong).

• Music is shuttering its a bit laggy sometimes(even when im not touching my phone)

• Bluetooth is working but some Bluetooth profiles not(I know you mentioned it before, but its not only bluetooth calls) Bluetooth A2DP isnt working aswell, Music through bluetooth.

• Camera can take a picture after it, it stops working and recquires a soft- reboot to work again, but in 3rd party apps like Whatsapp you can use the camera without any problem.

• MHL is totally laggy when im connecting MHL cable or Dock. But thats only when im connecting it at the first 10~30 Seconds. Phone gets really warm in dock. Its a original Samsung Multimedia Dock. everything works fine though.

• When dock is connected there's no sound through the dock or phone speaker or headphone jack, untill i stick in the headset to the jack a couple of times. Without the dock its working perfect so no doubt about broken jack or something.

• Simcontacts (I know im not suppose to ask this, but this is different) When i copy my simcontact to local phone instead of google account, it does copy but after some days all my contact are gone and have to copy them over again, i dont know what exactly cause this problem. And isnt there any option to show sim contacts directly and save a contact directly to the sim instead of copying all the time ?

• Video Driver( i guess it is what i called but correct me if im wrong) When im on internet browser (implented browser or chrome or firefox it doesnt matter) and when im watching a video through the browser it works fine, but for a couple of videos, after the couple of videos i can see the player, i can hear sound, but the video doesnt come up untill i perform a soft- reboot.

• Apps like Link2SD doesnt work(I have the premium version from Google Play)and it doesnt move the apps to the sd and the option in the rom itself to install it on External or Internal doesnt seems to work i cant get to install the apps on the sd, only move it to the sd.

Im totally enjoying the Rom no doubt about it. and those things i've mentioned above are small things. I just wanted to share my experience with the rom, since im a heavy user with huge amount of accessiores like docks, bluetooth keyboard, bluetooth game controllers, MHL stuff etc.

For the rest of the rom like i said no doubt about it CM12 Android L what can i say more

• Bildschirm-Aufnahme nach der Auflösung des Bildschirms es tut passen, wenn im Aufnahme. Zum Beispiel, wenn im Aufnahme 1280 x 720 die unten auf dem Bildschirm ist nicht zeigt und so weit ich weiß, ist die Auflösung 1280 x 720 rechts (korrigieren Sie mich, wenn im falschen).

• Musik ist Schalung seiner etwas laggy manchmal (auch wenn im meinem Handy nicht berühren)

Für den Rest des rom wie ich sagte, kein Zweifel CM12 Android L was soll ich sagen mehr
