ich habe beim aktuellen Rom das Problem, dass man den Fernzugriff bzw. die Reaktivierungssperre nicht aktivieren kann. Muss ein bestimmter Samsung Dienst bei Aroma Installer angehakt werden? Könnte mir jemand weiterhelfen?

Auch ich habe das selbe Problem wie Puky. Habe beim Installieren über Aroma fast alle Samsung-Apps nicht ausgewählt. Muss ich was nachinstallieren ? Danke

Die Rom ist super, gefällt mir besser wie die Alliance aber eine Frage hab ich noch, weiß jemand ob man irgendwie den Dailer und das Menü selbst (unter Einstellung) farblich ändern kann? Dieses "Dunkle" macht ja Depressiv

oder einfach das es das "normale" Android-Einstellungsmenü wie zum Beispiel beim G2/G3? Bei S5 ist das irgendwie so überladen, 3000 Mal den Selben Punkt unter jeder Einstellungsart

So wirkliche Neuerungen scheinen da nicht dabei zu sein, dass könnte, meiner Meinung nach, eher 7.2 werden

Ich bin noch auf der Omega 7 und bleibe da. Mehr als zufrieden. Die Erfahrung hat mir gezeigt (über die letzten Jahe - S2,S3,S4), dass wenn eine Base - wie die ANG2 - auch offiziell ausgerollt wird - kann man lange auf dieser bleiben ohne Probleme zu bekommen. Alles was danach aus dem Umland kommt hat immer irgendwelche Bugs bei mir gehabt.

Ich warte lieber bis ein "offizielles" Update in Deutschland raus kommt und es dann vom Indie verOmegasiert wird.

Please read the following before flashing v8.0:

knox:
Omega Rom can be flashed only with a custom recovery.
This mean the knox will be triggered and your warranty will be void, more info:
All you wanted to know about KNOX Void Warranty 0×1

Wipe:
This Omega version is a No Full wipe rom, but Full wipe is strongly recommended if you have issues!
If you are coming from another custom rom or from stock firmware or from an Omega rom with previous android version, Full wipe is needed

Backup:
Make sure to make and keep in a safe place an efs backup - nadroid backup - titanium backup - etc, in case you ever need to restore!

Installation:
1. Backup your device (nadroid backup, titanium backup, efs backup ... etc) and save the backup to a safe place.
2. Flash a custom recovery
3. Boot to Recovery and flash Omega

NOTICE:
The new XXU1ANG2 firmware has a new bootloader
New bootloader XXU1ANG2 - old bootloader XXU1ANE2
The new Omega v8.0 will not boot with the stock kernel if you do not update the bootloader.
Omega Kernel is modified at the new v8.0 to work with both bootloaders.
You can download the new bootloader here and flash it with odin
FLASH THE NEW BOOTLOADER ONLY IF YOUR DEVICE IS G900F

NOTICE only for G900I users:
XXU1ANG2 firmware has changes and the nfc fix for G900I users will not work.
If you do not use NFC then you can flash Omega v8.0
and then you also need to flash G900I kernel from Omega files the one for the new bootloader.

SuperSu:
Opens SuperSu and update SU binary, then choose normal and reboot device.

Dialer contacts::
If you flashed with No Full Wipe and your contacts do not appear to phone and you are having only numbers remove your google account reboot and then add it again to fix it.

Remove bloatware:
You can remove all bloatware during Omegas installation - Screenshot with Omega de-bloated

csc:
Multi csc included in Omega
You can change csc with this application - THIS WILL WIPE ALL YOUR DATA AND INTERNAL SDCARD

Tips:
* You can change Governors and I/O schedulers to Omega kernel and to any kernel with Omegas Team app CPU Adjuster -> Screenshot
*To change Battery icons use Omegas OGBatteryMod app, about 60 battery icons included.
*For Accuwheather widget transparent go to Accuwheather widget Settings and select the Widget transparency you like
*Hide It Pro app (included in Omega) can be used instead of Private Mode​

ehrlich gesagt, find ich keinen Unterschied zur 7.2......

Bei mir ist die WLAN Verbindung extrem langsam. Hab den Omega Kernel gewählt und zur Zeit teste ich den Hacker Kernel. Aber da ist kein Unterschied. Mit der 7.1 läuft es gewohnt schnell. Ansonsten hält der Akku länger als vorher.

Bei mir ist WLAN mit der V7.0 extrem langsam! (Omega Kernel)

Alle anderen Geräte funktionieren extrem schnell (80 - 140MBit) - S5 mit max. 4-10MBit.

Was kann der Grund für langsames WLAN sein?

Bin jetzt vom xxxxANG2 Bootloader auf den xxxxANG9 gewechselt und das WLAN rennt nach dem ersten Start wieder. Werde das mal im Auge behalten ob darin komischerweise die Ursache lag, weil mit dem Update auf die V8.0 habe ich auch den Bootloader gewechselt (auf xxxxANG2).

Hey, habe noch eine kleine Frage.
Leider verdeckt die Tastatur im Querformat immer das Eingabefeld, sodass man nie nachlesen kann, was man bereits geschrieben hat. (z.B. bei Whatsapp)

Gibt es dort Abhilfe? Evtl. Mods?

Kann man irgendwie eine neue Bootanimation in die Rom Flashen?Ich finde irgendwie diese komische,sich drehende Münze, "hässlich" weiß da jemand was?


@sgs3i ich hab mir die ia Tastatur genommen, kann man schön einstellen von der höhe und welche tasten sich darauf befinden sollen usw usw.... vllt hilft dir die tastatur weiter

Zu einer Frage: Die Original Boot/Shout down Animations kannst du in der Omega-Files-App unter Bootanimations herunterladen. Dann nur noch recovery und von zip installieren.

War gerade aus Neugier hier im Galaxy s5 Bereich (Gibt es hier kein Official CM Support?!) unterwegs und bin eben auf diese Rom gestoßen, kenne die Rom noch aus der Galaxy S2 Zeiten War einer der besten Roms zu der Zeit meiner Meinung nach
