@heikonet: Ich würde gerne wieder mit der Kamera auf "Lauter-Leiser" zoomen können.
Leider löst bei Omega sowohl bei Laut und Leiser die Kamera aus.
Jetzt würde ich gerne wissen, wie ich den Zoom wieder verwenden kann.

ich habe hier ein frisch gerootetes S5 mit Firmware Version "XXU1ANE2" vor mir liegen.
Möchte Omega Rom flashen, dort steht aber "Based on Firmware XXU1ANE4", füht das zu Problemen?

Is es normal, dass es zu XXU1ANE4 keine modems gibt? Auch in omega pro sind keine.

Zu ANE4 gibt es kein Modem. Es ist das ANE2.
Aber in Omega pro sind bei mir andere drin.

Die 5.1 läuft seit gestern bei mir stabil und auch mit der Akkulaufzeit bin ich zufrieden (Omega Kernel).

Nun habe ich festgestellt das bei der Kamera App die Sprachsteuerung nur funktioniert wenn man Svoice mit installiert hat.

Nach installieren geht ja nur wenn ich 5.1 ohne wipe drüber flashe.

Nun fragt er ja bei der Installation ja auch alle anderen Apps ab.
Wenn ich die abhacke, auch die die ich schon installiert habe - sind die dann weg?

Über die Omega App ging der Download auch wieder schnell und bis jetzt läuft die App

Bis jetzt läuft es sehr stabil und Akkulaufzeit mit dem Stockkernel ist wie immer hervorragend!

ich möchte mit meinem s5 von dem AllianceRom auf das OmegaRom umsteigen ...
habe mir die OmegaApp installiert und hole mir darüber gerade das v6.0 OmegaRom ...
diese installiere ich gleich über das CWM Recoverie ... richtig?
und kann dann zB den liebgewonnenen HackerKernel hinterher flashen?
und sollte aber sinnigerweise ein fullwipe machen?

2. Ja, andere Kernel gehen - aber der Stock war bei mir mit der Rom bis jetzt der beste.
3. Du solltest meiner Meinung nach besser einen Fullwipe mache, da es ansonsten zu Problemen kommen kann.

The new XXU1ANG2 firmware has a new bootloader
New bootloader XXU1ANG2 - old bootloader XXU1ANE2

The new Omega v7.0 will not boot with the stock kernel if you do not update the bootloader.
Omega Kernel is modified at the new v7.0 to work with both bootloaders.

XXU1ANG2 firmware has changes and the nfc fix for G900I users will not work.
G900I users will have to stay with Omega v6.0 until Samsung updates G900I firmware or another fix is found.

Please read the following before flashing v7.0:

knox:
Omega Rom can be flashed only with a custom recovery.
This mean the knox will be triggered and your warranty will be void, more info:
All you wanted to know about KNOX Void Warranty 0×1

Wipe:
This Omega version is a No Full wipe rom, but Full wipe is strongly recommended if you have issues!
If you are coming from another custom rom or from stock firmware or from an Omega rom with previous android version, Full wipe is needed

Backup:
Make sure to make and keep in a safe place an efs backup - nadroid backup - titanium backup - etc, in case you ever need to restore!

Installation:
1. Backup your device (nadroid backup, titanium backup, efs backup ... etc) and save the backup to a safe place.
2. Flash a custom recovery
3. Boot to Recovery and flash Omega

NOTICE:
The new XXU1ANG2 firmware has a new bootloader

Dialer contacts::
If you flashed with No Full Wipe and your contacts do not appear to phone and you are having only numbers remove your google account reboot and then add it again to fix it.

Mit der Version ANG2 kommt auch ein neuer Boatloader!
Der muss vorher geflashed werden, sonst startet Omega 7 nicht mit dem Stock Kernel!

Der verlinkte Bootloader von Omega funktioniert nicht!

Folgendes hat bei mir funktioniert.

1. Odin 3.09 öffnen und S5 an Originales Samsung USB kabel anschließen.
2. Dann unter BL den Bootloader nehmen und flashen.
3. Dann unter CP das Modem geflashed.

Dann via Recovery das Rom. Danach den neuen Stock Kernel.

Das Changelog von Omega sieht so "trocken" aus, aber an der Firmeware seitens Samsung wurde einiges verbessert!

Der Fingerabdruckscanner wurde richtig gut nachgebessert. Jetzt funktioniert auch das Einhand-Daumen-Schräg-Scannen bei mir
