SensatioN 4 has come, after a long period of waiting, but I hope the result will satisfy the most of you. The user-experience offered by SensatioN ROM is unique, because even though it's based on a Samsung Firmware, it benefits of an unique interface. SensatioN bring also new functions in the addition of standard one, but without overloading the phone: it's balanced.

Flashing Custom ROMs on your phone can be dangerous. I am not responsible for any damages you do to your phone or for any data loss.

OK guys, so here’s the deal with SensatioN ROM. You will have 2 versions of the rom: wipe and no-wipe version. The differences between this 2 versions is that no-wipe keeps intact you data partition, so you will no loose any apps installed or informations.

If you install for the first time SensatioN ROM, I recommend you to use the WIPE version. The NO WIPE version should be used if you are already on SensatioN ROM or on other fully deodexed ROM.


Before you install SensatioN ROM, make sure that you have CF-ROOT kernel installed on your phone, or ninphetamine.

Steps to install CF-ROOT kernel:
1.Download the kernel from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...8&d=1312203859
2.Power off phone, and enter in DOWNLOAD MODE
3.Put the downloaded zip into PDA section of ODIN, and flash it
4.Let the phone reboot

Steps to install the ROM:
1.Copy the ROM file on your SD card
2.Reboot you Phone into CWM
3.Navigate to Install Zip from SD Card
4.Select Choose ZIP from SD Card
5.Select SensatioN_ROM_by_CRYSIS_i9100_(no)wipe.zip
6.Wait until the ROM is installed and reboot your Phone.
7.If you have any bootloops with the NO WIPE version, you will probably need to use WIPE

Q:Where are my icons from the dock?
A:To get back the icons do this:
1.open the app drawer
2.hit menu
3.hit edit
4.hold and drag any icon you want in the dock and everythiong goies back to normal.

Q:How fast does the battery drain with this ROM?
A: The ROM is battery friendly as much as possible. The stock rom comes with ninphetamine kernel because of the BLN support, but if your interest is the battery life, then I suggest you to switch over speemod kernel which is greater than ninphetamine regarding the battery. You can find it in goodies post.

Q:How can I fix CRT animation?
A: CRT animation has problems due to Screenshot service. If you want a quick fix about the CRT animation here is what you have to do. Open a white image (or dial *#0*# and then press receiver(white)). After that press home button and while keeping it pressed, push the power button once (make a screenshot). The CRT now looks properly

Habe sie seit dem release hier drauf und finde sie toll. zum Akku kann ich noch nichts sagen, aber alles klappt schnell und ohne bugs oder fcs. Kein Schnelligkeitsunterschied zur checkrom, dafür viel schöner

Sooo nach langem hin und her hab ich mich auch entschieden mein SGS2 zu rooten bzw. ein custom ROM aufzuspielen. Hab mich dann gegen Cyanogenmod und fuer Sensation entschieden (hauptsaechlich weil man im Cyanogenmod Forum ueber den Stable Release doch liest, dass es noch einige Probleme gibt).

Was soll ich sagen - schaut _echt_ schick aus. Endlich hab ich die Einstellungsmoeglichkeiten, die mir beim Stock Rom abgegangen sind naemlich lauter Kleinigkeiten die sicher bei fast jedem Rom unterstuetzt werden *g*.

Werde beizeiten meinen Akku wieder voll aufladen und schauen wie lange ich damit auskomme .

ich hab mir die Rom raufgehauen und danach den SiyahKernel 2.2 installiert. Jetzt komme ich nicht mehr aus dem StartupScreen mit dem Dreieck raus. Was kann ich machen?

Bin jetzt endlich von Lightning umgestiegen. Hatte mich damit ja schwer getan. Lief einfach zu gut aber wollte dann jetzt doch mal umsteigen. Bis Dato (Nach 3 Tagen) keine Veränderung in der Akkulaufzeit spürbar (War aber auch mit Lightning für mich schon in Ordnung). Leistung hat sich gefühlt gesteigert was aber wohl auch dem Wipe zu schulden ist. Optik 1a und stabil.

Hab die Rom seit heute drauf. Läuft einfach super smooth und sieht klasse aus. Habe ganz normal über CWM nach einem Fullwipe geflasht. Lediglich den Kernel habe ich noch durch den SpeedMod ersetzt. Bin bisher sehr zufrieden!

Hab hier grad keine Möglichkeit das Rom hochzuladen. Probiers einfach nochmal:

Danach im CWM
1. "wipe data/factory reset"
2. "wipe cache partition"
3. Advanced -> "Wipe Dalvik Cache".
Ich mache das ganze immer 2 mal.

Dann zurück ins Hauptmenü vom CWM und
1. "install zip from sd card"
2. "choose zip from sdcard" und das Rom auswählen.

Danach rebooten und fertig.



P.S.: Vom Gefühl her bisher das schnellste Rom was ich drauf hatte.

Pack die Rom.zip mal in die externe SDCard und flashe mal von dort...

Habs grade mal installiert. Erster Eindruck:

--> Alles klappt ohne Probleme
--> So schnell wie fluxxis Miui mit aktuellem Kernel (verdammt schnell )
--> Bis auf den hässlichen Touchwiz launcher von Samsung optisch sehr ansprechend.

Ich teste weiter. Installation ging über CMW nach Fullwipe ohne jedes Problem.

Ja das Sensation hatte schon immer eine schicke Optik. Muss ich schon zugeben, aber leider gibts das Theme nicht seperat, logisch.

Damals war ich dann eher mit Leo zufriedener als mit dem Sensation :/

ich habe mir vorhin mal die Rom geflasht,und Sie sieht Optisch sehr sehr nice aus. Respekt.
Alles läuft flüssig und ohne wackler.
Hatte vorher Miui von fluxy drauf.
