Release Schedule - Our decision has arrived!

In light of the mess we made of the Twooey III release, the team have discussed this over the last few days, and we have come to a decision on how to maintain the quality of ROM that you all expect.

To do this, we will only be releasing fully tested, stable builds to the public. This will allow us to focus on making sure that everything is right before we let it loose, outside of known issues such as FM and Tv Out, etc. etc. This will have one side effect however. We will be slowing down our releases in order to achieve this. Gone are the days of a weekly public release, with patch fixes that come during the week.

I know this will upset some people, but we have to do this to be able to provide a high quality rom that not only you guys and gals will be happy with, but one that we are happy with as well.

Now, in order to be transparent in our development process, we will make betas available to our groupies as normal. This will allow them to see the new releases grow, as well as what we change with Chameleon. We are also adding in i9000b and Defy Chameleon betas for owners of those devices to see what's happened since the last public release.

If this doesn't help your OCF disorder (trust me I know I have it after all these betas lol!) then please think about becoming a groupie. It's really not that expensive, and well worth the money when you see the sheer number of betas that you will get to test drive!

Sie haben ENDLICH die Kamera gefixt. Dass ich das noch erleben darf. Ich hatte die Hoffnung eigentlich schon aufgegeben. Nun kann ich also Montag mit funktionierender 720p-Aufnahme in den Urlaub fliegen. Ich hätte sonst wohl oder übel wieder ein Stock Rom drauf machen müssen.

Hab gerade mal auf die v11-Beta von der deutsch-englischen Vollversion(Andy25) die entsprechenden Datein eingefügt. Es hat einwandfrei funktioniert. So braucht man nicht auf ein Sprachpaket zu warten und hat eine deutsche v11-Beta. Mich hat es interessiert wie es funktioniert.

Geht leider nicht, wohne auf dem Dorf. Die sind bei uns mit dem Ausbau vom Internet noch nicht fertig und das was ich jetzt habe ist immer für 3 Monate mit 2GB volumen und Leistung für solche Sachen ganz schlecht.Später mal sehr gerne. Da muß überlegen was ich mach.
Es geht alles auf deutsch, soweit ich seh. Aber es ist ganz einfach. Nur die zwei Zip Datein laden(v11-Beta u.deutsch-englische Vollversion) und die Datein austauschen. Keine 5minuten arbeit.
PS.:Ich verändere noch andere Sachen.Also würde meine Version dir bestimmt nicht gefallen.

Es währe super wenn einer Von euch ein sprachpaket machen könnte, ich würde es selber gerne machen aber ich bin auf der Arbeit und kann nicht das am PC machen sonst bringt mich die Telekom um

Hallo Steffen,

Verändert man mit der Aktion die Build Nummer & Bootanimation (MIUI Germeny), oder hat das keinen Einfluss darauf?

Werde Dich gleich mal als Ansprechpartner erwähnen, das Du ja schon praktische Erfahrung damit hast.

Übrigens: der Tipp ist schon seit geraumer Zeit in Wissens-, Erfahrungsberichte - Lösungsvorschläge unter Tipp 3 gepostet
