Boogie's Sprachpaket zerhaut nicht nur die SuperUser-App, sondern der Slider unterhalb der Desktop-Seiten ist auch verschwunden. Wer weiss, was da noch alles flöten geht. Ich kann nur jedem empfehlen gleich das Multi-Language-Pack zu nehmen. Dann hat man auch kein Problem mit SU. Das einzig unschöne ist, dass wohl noch ein paar kleine Übersetzungen fehlen.

Das Problem mit dem Slider hab ich auch. Dachte schon das er in der neuen Version rausgenommen worden ist
Da weiß ich ja jetzt das ich nicht der einzige bin.

Hallo Leute,
ich habe mein Galaxy S jetzt seit letzten Herbst und hatte schon eine vielzahl von Custom Rom's installiert. Angefangen von Doc's Rom über Darky und jetzt zu Galnet's Miui....
Auf meiner internen SD ham sich jetzt schon viele Ordner von alten Rom's und Apps gesammelt und deshalb möchte ich am liebsten alles formatieren und mit einer frischen V4 von Galnet starten.

Deshalb meine Frage wie ich das am besten anstelle, sodass z.B. die IMEI nicht verloren geht?

Also ich bin exakt nach der Galnet-Anleitung vorgegangen und hab zusätzlich in CWM dann noch die SD formatiert und meine IMEI hab ich noch (Und die ganzen Proramm-/ROM-Daten waren damit weg)
Nur die zusätzliche SDCard wurde nicht angerührt ... aber da hat bei mir sowieso kein Programm Daten abgelegt. Dort liegt nur Musik

Damit geht meine CPU auch in den Deep Sleep ... das hat er mit Glitch v11 leider nicht gemacht. Dort ist er die ganze Zeit auf 100 MHz geidled.

Ok klingt schon mal gut!
In welchem Schritt hast du die SD dann formatiert? Nachdem du mit Odin den Froyo Bootloader installiert hast?
Und formartiert er dann wirklich die komplette SD? Also auch die Bilder/Musik/alte Rom Ordner?

Also nachdem man die Froyo-Base aus dem install.zip geflasht und in die Recovery gebootet ist, soll man ja system, cache und data formatieren. Und da hab ich dann die interne SD mit formatiert, soweit ich mich erinnern kann.
Dadurch war alles unter /sdcard weg. /sdcard/external_sd blieb bei mir unangerührt (das ist die zusätzliche SD, die ich eingesetzt habe).

Auf Boogies webseite ist ne Deutsche Anleitung zum erhalt der Imei.

Dann lädste dir die Sgs_Miui_initial und das jeweilige Rom , Sprachpaket auf die Externe SD Karte.

Dann dein Handy in den Recovery mod und unter mounts & storage / format SD card.

Dann JPU mit Re-partition flashen, dann Speedmod, und dann die SGS_miui_initial über CWM , akku raus und rein , format -system, cache,data (mounts&storage) , dann das Rom deiner Wahl installieren und dann das Sprachpaket.

Was mich wundert, wenn du schon so viele Rom's draufgehabt hast müsstest du doch eigentlich wissen wie man die Karte formatiert

Bekanntlich führen ja mehrere Wege zu ROM
Galnet's Froyo Base bspw. beinhaltet schon den Speedmod-Kernel und von Akku rausnehmen steht auch nichts in der Anleitung. Und es funktioniert alles bestens.
Ist also deine Entscheidung Good_Shape

momentan hab ich keine Kapazität frei, einen neuen Kernel oder initramfs zu kompilieren & aktualisieren,

ich update gerade mein system (neu-kompilieren von allem - das dauert einige Stunden )

ich muss wirklich mehr von der Arbeit auf mehrere Schultern verteilen (z.B. das Releasen für andere Modelle)

da gehen Stunden drauf, dass mir nach jedem Release Hören und Sehen vergeht, nicht mehr schön :\

die MIUI-Kernel können hoffentlich von vorbeth modifiziert, kompiliert und dann rausgebracht werden,

für die anderen Modelle von einem vom captivate forum

Hallo und zwar wüsste ich gerne wie beim batterymonitoring das Signal interpretiert werden soll.Bin nàmlich noch auf der Such nach dem optimalen Modem.Schwarz ist Flugmodus das ist klar.Dunkelgrün soll das ein sehr gutes oder sehr schlechtes Signal sein?bei mir ist es nämlich überwiegend hellgrün

Hey leute brauche dringend eure HILFE.

Und zwar wird mir meine externe SD immer so nach ca. 1 std gebrauch folgend angezeigt.

Ich habe schon folgendes gemacht:

Komplett neu gemacht also jpu und halt die restliche prozedur.

SD kartr formatiert

Und heute eine neue SD karte gekauft

Alles dies hat nichts geholfen.

Ich bin aktuell auf boggies 1.7.1

Dieses problem habe ich aber schon länger und ich weis einfach nicht mehr was ich machen soll.

Ich bitte um jeden rat

waren das alles Sandisk microSDs ?

ich hatte mit einer mal das gleiche mit der anderen bis jetzt noch nichts,

mit der Marke scheint es wohl etwas häufiger aufzutreten,

evtl. hilft ein Wechsel auf eine andere,

es kann jedoch auch am SGS an sich liegen, dass es viele Karten nicht verträgt

Ja das waren alle Sandisk also bisher 2 aber das ist nur seit miui so und die erste die ich ja schon von anfang an drauf hatte.

Die war ja bei elder stock rom auch immer ok.

Kann es echt evtl. an der hardware vom sgs liegen?
