Samsung Dex vs EIGENLÖSUNG, die mit Android 15 kommen soll

Ich habe gerade das Fold 6 bestellt und überlege die Bestellung wieder abzubrechen wegen der geringen Displaybreite. Aber ich kann das nur machen wenn das andere Foldable was ich mir dann kaufen würde mit normaler Displaybreite im Außendisplay recht schnell etwas Vergeichbares wie Samsung Dex hat.

Ich wollte Samsung Dex unter anderem für ein schnelleren File Transfer von Phone und Desktop nutzen und für das Tippen im chinesischen WeChat am PC und auch der Möglichkeit vom PC mit Copy Paste dort schnell Sachen in das Chatfeld einzufügen (am PC ist man viel schneller mit Maus und Tastatur Texte zusammenzustellen die man im Chat versendet). EIne Tastatur ans Phone anschließen oder Softwaredownload kommt nicht in Frage. Webapp gibts nicht bei WeChat.

Nun habe ich gehört, dass Android in Version 15 diesen Herbst etwas wie Samsung Dex bringen möchte, allerdings weiß ich nicht ob das wirklich kommt und dann auch direkt so gut ist wie Samsung Dex. Weiß einer etwas darüber? Wird es für mich funktionieren oder sollte ich auf Samsung Dex setzen?


Ich schreibe dieses Thema hier rein, da nur Samsung Nutzer den Vergleich mit der neuen Software, die mit Android V15 anscheinend kommen soll, machen können.

ok, dass war im April.
In der Beta ist davon nichts (mehr) vorhanden.

ok dann sollte ich wohl doch jetzt das Fold6 behandeln, wenn da nichts mehr kommt dieses Jahr oder? Denn wie oft kommt eine neue Android Version? Jährlich? Und in der nächsten Android Version ist es dann auch nicht sicher dass es direkt so gut wie Samsung Dex oder?

Ja, etwa jährlich.
Ob eine DeX Alternative dann bei Android 16 enthalten ist, weiß wohl niemand.

Also ja, wenn dir einen Arzt DeX so wichtig ist, nimm das Samsung.

Das ginge auch ohne DeX.
Aber zusätzliche software.kommt für dich ja nicht in Frage?

Letzteres z.b. über LinktoWindows, u.a.

ich kenne das. ich teste es nochmal. das zeigt mit aber nicht die apps an phones weshalb ich quickshare jetzt auch probiere was ich gar nicht kenne. dex ist schonmal ein vorteil dass alles in einem ist.

Software kommt in Frage, aber will nicht die Software vom chinesischen Whatsapp (Wechat) auf dem PC installieren (habe Datenschutzbedenken)

Tatsächlich kann mir link zu windows die apps des phones auf dem pc anzeigen (ich dachte das ging früher nicht??). jetzt muss ich meine entscheidung für das fold6 überdenken und das honor v2 berücksichtigen. das honor v2 müsste ja dann auch mit link zu windows funktionieren oder?
