Welche Apps aus der Systempartition kann man löschen, welche sollte man nicht?

Do I need to root my milestone? if yes, sorry. I haven't rooted my milestone yet.

0wned ... yes you need root so apply root patch and try again. it WILL work

"signature verification failed" error occurs to root.
still trying to root.

there are 2.0.1 versions, that are not rootable, as the french version (i think?). if you got the DACH version, rooting should be possible.

Kann ich irgendwie den Taschenrechner deinstallieren/löschen?
Also die Applikation Rechner, habe mir den Calculator aussm Market installiert und würde den Rechner gerne verbannen (ist eh mist).

Ich weiß nur nicht wo ich die .apk vom Rechner finde, in system/apps ist sie scheinbar nicht drin, oder täucshe ich mich?

Ah ich depp habe gedacht das könnte der nachinstallierte Calculator aussm Market sein.

Kurze Info, vllt hat sich das ja schon jemand gefragt.
Man kann die Email.apk auch entfernen, wenn man K9 installiert hat (das lt. market auf der Email App von Google aufsetzt, jedenfalls hab ich das so verstanden )
Und mit K9 kann man auch wunderbar gmail accounts nutzen (imap).

Edit: und sync funktioniert weiterhin, auch ohne gmail und email...

Habe im 2.1 "Polska" Test-Build neben den bereits bekannten noch folgende Apps entfernt:

FOTA.apk -> OTA Update-Funktion (wer nutzt die schon wenn man root haben will?
GreekIME.apk -> griechischen Keyboard
HelpCenter.apk
LiveWallpapers.apk
LiveWallpapersPicker.apk
MagicSmokeWallpapers.apk
MotoCarDock.apk
VideoPlayerMoto.apk
VisualizationWallpapers.apk
VpnServices.apk -> nicht entfernen wenn man VPN Netzwerke nutzt
VSuiteApp.apk -> Sprachwahl

Ich denke die nicht weiter beschriebenen Apps erklären sich von selbst.

Insgesamt hab ich so über 32 MB gewonnen.

nachdem unser wicki schon mal beispielhaft voranstürmt, könnte der topic starter ja sein eingangsposting abändern und aufsplitten in 2.0/2.0.1 und 2.1?

ändert sich ja so einiges in den apps, viele neue kamen hinzu. oder man erweitert die angaben und markiert die 2.1er apps mit neuen farben und evtl fettschrift oder etwas in der art. oder normal für 2.0/2.0.1 und kursiv für 2.1? denkt euch was schönes aus

Ich hab seit das flashen mit ein 2.1 update (die mit K9 mail, kein email.apk, keine ahnung mehr welche version, aus diesem/r/s Forum) ein app genannt "all videos". Das kann kein officieller app sein. Weisst jemand welche app ich entfernen muss mit Root Explorer um diesen App zu entfernen vom Launcher?
