Hallo,

ich habe mich mal rangemacht ein Custom-Rom auf Froyo 2.2.1 Basis zu erstellen. Als Ausgangs-Rom diente mir die offizielle HTC Version 2.34.75.1.

Freue mich auf euer Feedback. Anbei noch die Release-Notes / Changelogs !

Installation (FULL ROM)
-------------------------

* You need a rooted device with installed clockmodwork recovery to install this Rom
* Download via Market & Install Titanium Backup (recommended, if you wipe your device later)
* Titanium Backup : Backup all Settings and APPS you would like to use again after flashing (recommended, if you wipe your device later)
* Download the zip file from the links below , extract downloaded ZIP File (ONLY if its the Pack Version DK-Custom Pack....zip) and copy the zipped ROM File (DK_CUSTOM_ROM_Vx.ZIP) to your SD card
* Restart your device in recovery mode (clockworkmod)
* PERFORM A NANDROID BACKUP FROM THE MENU
* Wipe Cache and DALVIK-Cache (Advanved -> Wipe Dalvik Cache within Nadroid Backup
* Wipe Data/Factory Reset within NADROID.(recommended, to have a clean installation, backup APPs and settings first)
* Wipe SD-EXT Partition within NADROID (Partitions Menu -> Format SD-EXT) .(recommended, to have a clean installation, backup APPs and settings first)
* Select the option to apply an ZIP File (NADROID -> Choose ZIP File from SD-Card), and select the zip file you copied to your memory card (DK_CUSTOM_ROM_Vx.ZIP for example)

* !!! The initial boot will take some minutes ( ~5-10 min), atfer Loading you should wait again some Minutes (~5min) to let the OS finish loading all files !!!

* Restore APPS & Settings via Titanium Backup. After restore , you should reboot your device !

* Edify Versions & Packs are here for all Clock-Work-Mod 3.x Users
* Please do the initial GPS Fix outside of any building. This could also take some minutes for the first time !
* App Icons could appear later after rebooting for apps which has been copied to SD-Card via APP2SD (see known Bugs / Issues).
* This Rom uses the build in APP2SD feature of Froyo. However some APPs does not Support moving to SD-Card. So i recommed you to use
Titanium Backup for moving apps to SD-Card. Titanium Backup can nearly move all apps. Please make an app backup before moving.
* After every BOOT, the phone needs some minutes to load all informations from SD-Card, that includes ALL apps you moved there.
Sometimes Icons appear later. That’s one reason for that. Typically it’s a FROYO Problem. So, just wait a few minutes after Boot, before INSTALLING any APP.
The RULE “wait and take some coffee” also applies, if you connect your sd-card via usb to you pc. After disconnect, you should also wait some Minutes until
the OS has finished reading the Apps and settings from SD-Card again.[FONT=&quot]

Fix RANDOM reboots / freezes(All the Time the phone reboots when i try to Install an App or want to Restore via Titanium Backup.)

* Boot into Clock-Work-mod Recovery
* Mount USB-Storage (SD-Card) to your PC and run Windows CHKDSK on your SD-CARD to check file-system.
* Clear Cache and Clear Dalvik Cache. Try boot. Could take some Minutes (~10-15min)

If this wont help :

If not already done so before installation, make a Titanium Backup off all your APPS & Settings. Reboot device into Clock-Work-mod Recovery.
Make a NADROID Backup. Save all Files from your SD-Card, except all Androis Folders beginning with a dot (.) Please make sure you saved
your clockworkmod Backup and or Titanium Backup directory. After that, do a clean format (fat32) of your sd-card. Then copy back all files to your sd-card.
Now clear both Caches and then do a full Wipe (Data Factory reset) (both within NADROID). Try Boot now.Initial Boot could take some Minutes.
After Boot , restore your Settings & Apps via Titanium Backup. After restores are complete, please reboot your phone. Initial boot could take some minutes.
If you have still problems running this ROM and have an EXT Partition on your SD-Card, try moving back DALVIK Cache from SD-Card to Internal
Phone Partition (See A2SD Commands).

Strange. Wenige Leute haben Probleme. Kein Plan aktuell. Kannst du mir bitte folgende Fragen beantworten bzw Schritte prüfen :

1.) Vorherige Version , wo das Update nicht Funktioniert hatte ?
2.) Full Wipe (Data / System) Ja oder Nein
3.) Clear Cache J o N
4.) Clear Dalvik Cache J. o N
5.) Bitte vor dem Start des Markets, warten bis das Rom vollständig
geladen ist. Bei Apps die auf der SD-Karte liegen, kann das ein paar Minuten dauern , bis diese da sind. Froyo Problem. Typischerweise sieht man dann auch erstmal keine AppIcons für diese Anwendungen. Erst wenn alles geladen ist, mal den Market Cache löschen und dann nochmal probieren.
6.) Benutzt du eine EXT Parition ?
7.) Einfach Handy mal 3-4 Minuten liegen lassen nach dem Anschalten / Booten und dann erneut Probieren eine APK via Market zu installieren.
Sollte das nicht helfen,Wipe Dalvik Cache + Wipe Cache ausführen im Recovery. Booten und erstmal warten. Dann Market Cache löschen und erneut probieren.

Ein gutes Indiz daür das der Rom fertig hochgeladen hat,inkl. Apps ist, das der Interne Phone-Speicher sich nicht mehr ändert/verrinngert. Beim Booten ist immer etwas mehr frei als später im Betrieb.
8.) Lade die mal bitte eine aktualisierte Titanium Backup Version runter, falls
es beim wiederherstellen der APL´s ausm Backup Probleme gibt. Glaube in Verwendung mit APPS2SD hatte die alte Version Probleme.

-> Das Problem mit dem Laden , wenn das Telefon ausgeschaltet ist, ist ein BUG vom Clockmod Recovery (Rooting) und liegt nicht am ROM.Sobald du Clockmod draufhast, hat man das Problem. Workround : Einfach nicht laden wenn das Telefon ausgeschaltet ist.

zu 4.) Clear Dalvik Cache ist eine Funktion im Clockmod Recovery - Zufinden unter ADVANCED. Dort werden ebenfalls Cache Daten abgelegt. Bei jeder Änderung am ROM im Clockmod Recovery sollten BEIDE Caches gelöscht werden. Dabei gehen keine Einstellungen verloren ! Nur der nächste Start dauert länger (~5-10min) !

zu 6.) EXT Partition ist eine spezielle Partition die auf der SD-Karte eingerichtet wird. Dort kann das Betriebssystem die APPS ablegen. Somit wird weniger interner Speicher benötigt. Auf der ersten Seite in meinem Einleitungspost ist am Ende ein Link zu einem sehr guten Guide. Dort steht einiges beschrieben. Allerdings auf Englisch

zu 8.) Probleme bekommt man wohl nur mit der EXT Partition

zu SET CPU : Optimale SET CPU Einstellungen min 400 , max 650. Damit sollte alles sehr stabil laufen.
Welchen Kernel hast du Installiert und funktioniert bei dir noch WIFI und der WIFI Router mit dem Overclocking-Kernel ?

Ich hab bei minimum 245 und maximum 652 MHz. Bisher lief auch alles gut, nur an der Steckdose ladend ist das Wildfire bisschen heiss gelaufen, wird aber mit Profilsetting jetzt geregelt.
Die Kernel ist die 2.62.32.21-HCDR Jakob.


WiFi funktioniert schwankt aber deutlich von der Signalstärke her.
Tethering werde ich jetzt mal ausprobieren.

EDIT: Tendenziell hat das WLAN jetzt mehr Balken wenn man dem Icon vertrauen darf, während bei im selben zimmer befindlichem Router vorher nur 2 Balken erreicht wurden, sind es jetzt bei günstiger Lage 3.
