HTC One X - Brick?

Hallo Community,

Das One X meines Kollegens ist gestern morgen plötzlich beim Musik hören ausgegangen und lässt sich nicht mehr einschalten.
Ich hatte es zusammen mit ihm gerootet und es war CyanogenMod drauf. Die Nightly vom 05. Januar 2013. Sicher ist er sich aber nicht.
Wie gesagt. Es bootet weder das System noch die Recovery. Auch die Notification LED erhellt nicht wenn man das Gerät lädt oder an den PC anschließt.

Was könnte das Problem sein. Ich selber hab ein S3 und kenne mich deshalb nicht all zu gut mit HTC aus, aber dafür bin ich ja hier

Wenn kein Recovery und Bootloader mehr klappen, dann geht nur noch einschicken.

Was wird im Gerätemanager angezeigt wenn du es an den PC anschließt? Ich will niemandem Angst machen, aber das klingt nach dem APX Modus

...APX mode is a special low-level diagnostic and device-programming mode for NVIDIA Tegra–based devices. The firmware implementing APX mode is stored in the boot ROM and hence can never be changed. [1]
NVIDIA's nvflash program is used for controlling/manipulating a device in APX mode. Thus APX mode is sometimes called nvflash mode , and the device is said to be providing nvflash access . APX mode is sometimes also confusingly called recovery mode — APX mode is different and more primitive than a tablet booted to [ Android ] recovery .
APX mode is triggered by holding some device-specific button combination for a few seconds. APX mode can be triggered at any time: while the device is booting up, while it's running Android, or while it's running Android Recovery .
When a device is in APX mode, and connected via USB to a host PC, the device will identify itself with vendor "NVidia Corp." For the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer , the screen will initially be blank, then show status information as the tablet processes nvflash commands. When the device is running in its normal mode, it should report instead with the device vendor's name, eg "ASUSTek Computer, Inc."
To exit APX mode, press and hold the power button for about six seconds. The device should immediately boot into its normal mode....

Leider gibt es für das One X keine bekannten Wege aus diesem Modus zu kommen...bis jetzt! Also wie gesagt, wenn dein Kollege jetzt seinen HOX an den PC anschließt und irgendwas von "APX-Device" im Gerätemanager sieht, dann tut es mir leid. Bestenfalls einschicken und auf die Garantie hoffen.

Also im Gerätemanager steht nichts von APX oder sonstiges.

Vielleicht "unknown device" oder unbekanntes gerät? Wenn nicht, dann weiß ich auch nicht weiter, sorry :-(

Bei mir klingt das fast genau so.
CM 10.1 Beta 10 (pure JB vendor): Dev-Host - cm-10.1-20130303-JB-B10-endeavoru.zip - The Ultimate Free File Hosting / File Sharing Service
runtergeladen, Cache geleert, boot.img geflasht, im Recovery das Rom geflasht und dann ging es einwandfrei.
Heute wohl irgendwann aus gegangen und seit dem kein Lebenszeichen. Keine Lade LED, nichts.
