Das MJ9 Modem für o2 reißt ganz schön was raus. Empfang im o2 Netz deutlich besser geworden.

Der erste MJ9 Download wurde erstmal von Mobile Odin wegignoriert... Hab es jetzt laufen. MJ5 war und ist von der Sache her gut allerdings fiel mir bei der auf das wieder öfter "keine Internetverbindung" beim nutzen des Browsers auffiel und angezeigt wurde.

Habe jetzt nochmal BEIDE Dateien runtergeladen und das GSM Modem, welches ca. 50 MB groß ist geflasht (mit Odin 3.09 unter AP).

Mit Odin 3.09 flasht man womit das Modem?
AP oder CP?

Meiner Meinung nach:

Bis Odin 3.07:

Recovery --> PDA
Modem ---> PHONE

Ab Odin 3.09:

Recovery ---> AP
Modem ----> CP

Liege ich falsch?

Ich fummel mich hier wund. Odin 1.85 , 3.07 und 3.09.
Aber das I9505XXUEMJ9_MODEM will nicht raum. Nach dem neustart steht dort immer mein altes MF8 Modem, was ich mal mit dem selben Odin geflasht habe.

Habe es auch mal von deinem Server geladen, aber gleiches Problem.

Die .tar ist auch entpackt und sämtliche Odin Versionen durch.
Sehr eigenartig.

Das will wohl nicht auf jedes Handy

Du hast doch bestimmt auch das 2 malige Flashen
ohne den Haken bei Autoreboot versucht ?

Das hat bei manchen auch geholfen.

2mal flashen, siehe Anleitung....

Hier lief das Flashen mit mobile Odin einwandfrei (Von J5-> J9), hab die Tar aber als File von MO selbst öffnen und somit automatisch in Modem#2 eintragen lassen. (läuft meist zuverlässiger, als es selbst gleich als Modem#2 einzutragen, keine Ahnung warum… !?)

Ich habe mittlerweile 6 Modems auf meiner SD-Karte und flashe die alle lustig und munter. Bis auf das gestern erwähnte das Mobile Odin am Anfang das MJ9 wegignorierte geht das super schnell...und beim flashen mit dem normalen Odin habe ich auch immer nur einen Versuch gebraucht. Das MJ9 hat sich die Nacht super geschlagen. Aber es ist trotzdem immer wieder erschreckend wieviele tote Bereiche es gibt 4G schaltete auch super,hatte zum größten Teil H und H+ und nur ganz selten E oder G.Aber der Stromverbrauch im 4G ist echt enorm...da kannste echt mit dem Netzteil hinterherrennen.

vlt. ist es auch nur eine einbildung, aber mit dem mj9-modem scheint sich der empfang im vergleich zum mj8 etwas verbessert zu haben.

btw: ich flashe immer nur mittels odin (3.09).

Das hat bei mir das Modem drauf bekommen.
Im Moment - in Köln und bei 1&1 (Vodafone) - sieht es auch besser aus.

Sorry aber ich find Deine Antwort....nun drücken wir es Milde aus unpassend. Ich finde eine Community lebt auch von solchen Fragen. Ich habe sie auch schon gestellt und dabei auch "sinnvolle" Antworten bekommen die mir sehr viel Zeit mit Fehlersuche und co. erspart haben.
