[MOD][RECOVERY] AROMA Recovery Installer V0.2 (21.02.2014) [Galaxy S4 Mini]

Wie ich schon im PhilZ Thread schrieb, bin ich aufgrund meiner Tätigkeit als MOD öfter hier tätig. Nehme das als Anlass meinen "AROMA Recovery Installer" fürs Galaxy S4 Mini vorzustellen. Der MOD ist eine Installationsmethode für Recoveries. Ihr habt dabei die Auswahl an derzeitig 2 Recoveries die aktuell sein sollten. Diese können bequem über den AROMA gewählt werden. Allerdings braucht ihr dazu schon ein Custom Recovery durch das der MOD geflasht werden kann.

Wofür das Ganze? Ist halt ne Spielerei von mir und für die Leute gedacht, die die Recoveries öfter als ihre Hosen wechseln.

Achtung!!

Allerdings ist der MOD ungetestet da ich kein S4 Mini besitze. Sollte aber klappen. Im updater_script sollten keine Fehler drin sein. Ging zumindest auf meinem S4 durch.

Welche Recoveries sind enthalten?

- PhilZ Advanced CWM v6.12.8
- TWRP 2.6.3.0
- ClockworkMod 6.04.6

Wie komme ich ins Recovery?

- Dazu startet man das Handy neu, alternativ Handy ausschalten und warten bis es vibriert hat.
- Drückt beim Neustart Vol. Up + Home fest.
- Dies macht man solange bis das Handy vibriert und ne blaue Schrift in der oberen linke Ecke kommt - "Reboot to Recovery"
- Nun könnt ihr beide Taste loslassen
- Alternativ kann per Extended Powermenü bei Custom ROMs gleich direkt reingebootet werden.

Wie flashe ich den MOD?

- ihr ladet euch die Zip runter und flasht es durch das vorhandene Custom Recovery - natürlich nur interessant, wenn man schon TWRP oder CMW etc. drauf hat.

Flash per CWM/TWRP

Man platziere die Zip auf den internen Speicher oder der externen SD Karte.
- Dazu Boot ins Recovery, siehe oben
- boote ins Recovery
- gehe zu "Install zip from sd card" oder "Install zip from extern sd card", je nach Recovery-Typ (CWM)
--> oder nur install (im TWRP)
- sucht sich den Ordner wo man die Zip rein gelegt hat
- und flasht diese nun indem man auf die Zip klickt und folgende Frage bejat (CMW) oder den Slider beim TWRP nach rechts zieht.
- Anschließend könnt ihr das CWM neustarten und habt das neue Recovery drauf.

TWRP scheint zu funktionieren.

Damn. Die auf AFH gehen mir langsam aufn Sa??. Hab jetzt schon mehrfach "bad uploads" gehabt.

PS: Habe es auf einen andere Hoster hochgeladen. Sollte nun funzen. Habs gerade nochmal runtergeladen und kanns auf mein S4 kopieren.

Erkennung 64 GB SD-Card: funzt
backup auf ext_SD_Card: funzt
Nightlies unter CM11 (automatisch) installieren wird wohl leider nicht gehen gebe aber alsbald Bescheid.

Alsbald: Inst. nightly geht händisch über >install zip >wipe cache/dalvik cache >reboot und...
Restore: (dauert bissl länger). . . . 247 sec. ....boot (ohne CM bootimage ????) geht auch !

Empfehlenswert.

Danke Mattes fürs anpinnen. Wollte das nicht selber machen, riecht so nach Eigenlob.

Kann mir vielleicht einer von euch erzählen ob das PhilZ ebenfalls geflasht wird. TWRP scheint ja zu funzen, ergo sollte das PhilZ auch klappen.
