Ok, ein anderer Tester hat auch bestätigt, dass die Reboots ohne die gChannelBondingMode24GHz=1 weg sind. Im nächsten Update ist diese Zeile dann wieder raus und alles sollte laufen.

Wegen dem deaktivierten WLAN. Du meinst bestimmt das WLAN ist an aber die Verbindung wird nach einer Weile unterbrochen oder?

Bei mir ist das nicht, hatte das aber mit einem anderen ROM auf dem Neo in Verbindung mit einem anderen Fritzbox Router (7390). Mit der 7590 ist mir das noch nicht passiert. Ich konnte das dann beheben, indem ich im Neo eine statische IP zugewiesen habe. Die Ursache war vermutlich ein Bug im Neo, das dies bei abgeschaltetem Display keine "Antwort" gegeben hat und der Router das Neo dann getrennt hat. Sobald man das Display wieder abgeschaltetet hat, hat es sich sofort wieder verbunden. Der Router hat diese Prüfung exakt alle 10 Minuten durchgeführt - das könnte man schön im Log der Fritzbox beobachten. Als Beispiel. Sagen wir der Router hat um 10.00 Uhr geprüft und dann alle 10 Minuten.
Hab ich das Display also um 10.01 ausgeschaltet, war das Handy noch 9 Minuten verbunden. Habe ich das Display um 10.09 und 50 Sekunden ausgeschaltet, war das Handy nur noch 10 Sekunden verbunden... Es hat einige Zeit gedauert bis ich das raus gefunden hatte.

Ich bin nicht sicher ob ich dieses Problem nicht mehr habe, weil ich ne neue Fritzbox habe oder eine neuere Fritzbox Firmware drauf ist oder einen anderen Grund hat.

Auch die random Reboots wegen dem WCNSS crash hatte ich. Warum ich jetzt nicht mehr habe kann ich nicht sagen aber auch hier schätze ich ich es liegt an der neueren Fritzbox oder neueren Firmware der Fritzbox.

Wie gesagt ich habe keine Probleme mehr mit dem WLAN, einzig das dich das Neo erstmalig nicht mit meinen WlAN verbindet wenn ich nach Hause komme und das Display aus ist. Könnte ich also von der Arbeit nach Hause verbindet es sich erst mit dem WLAN, wenn das Display Mal an war.

So heute hatte ich wieder einen WCNSS crash!
Mit dem Handy meiner Frau, vermutlich weil ich für mein Handy heute eine statische IP zugewiesen habe???

Hast du im Handy deiner Frau den Fix angewendet, also aus der .ini-Datei die Zeile mit gChannelBondingMode24GHz=1 gelöscht bzw. auskommentiert. Oder ist bereits das Build vom 20. bzw.21. September installiert?

Ich werde berichten.
 
Die Reboots sind wohl Routerabhängig. Aber wenn das neueste Build drauf ist, sollte alles passen.

Nochmal Danke für die vielen Mühen.

Eine andere Frage ist in den letzten Tagen aufgetaucht.
Wenn ich den Speicherort der Kamera - SD-Karte auswähle, speichert das Smartphone die Bilder irgendwo in Unterordnern: "Dieser PC/GT-I9301I/SD-Karte von SanDisk/Android/data/org.lineageos.snapfiles".
Kann ich nirgends definiert einen anderen Zielorder auswählen?
Weißt Du eine gute Kameraapp für das Handy? Kann ich die Alte dann löschen oder gibt es dann Probleme?

Ja seit LOS 16 ( oder 15!? ) Ist das der Standard Speicherort. Leider kann man den (noch) nicht selbst definieren. Ob dieses Feature irgendwann kommt kann man nicht sagen, aber mich nervte es auch am Anfang. Wenn man es Mal weiß, kann man damit leben, aber anders wäre mir auch lieber.

Ne andere camera app kann ich nicht empfehlen, da die meisten seit LOS16 auf dem Neo Probleme bereiten ( weiße Linien bei Videoaufnahmen, wenn man die Kamera schwenkt ), kann auch bei der LOS Kamera App vorkommen, ist aber sehr selten. Evtl. Mal Google Go camera probieren. Weiß aber auch nicht ob man da den Speicherort selbst wählen kann.

Wenn du mit einer anderen Kamera-App dann zufrieden bist, kannst die alte deaktivieren, dann taucht sie nicht mehr in der App-Liste auf. Löschen könnte man sie auch, aber nach einem Update wäre sie wieder da.

ich habe eben nach der Google go camera - App geschaut. Leider finde ich die nicht im Appstore. Gibt es dazu einen Link zur apk-Datei?
Im Netz habe ich auch nix Passendes gefunden.

Das Thema hat ja nun hohe Wellen geschlagen.
Und es scheint doch nicht so einfach zu sein.
Ich habe noch immer das alte Android.
Wie einfach ist es doch mit Updates am Windows-PC, egal wie oft über Windows geschimpft wird!
 
Im Grunde ist es ganz einfach.
Gucken ob der Bootloader aktuell ist, ansonsten letzte deutsche Firmware mit I9301IXSAQE1 flashen. Dann TWRP flashen. Im TWRP dann das ROM und optional GApps / Root flashen. Ohne download Zeit ist es eine Sache von 10 Minuten und davon wartet man meiste Zeit...
Fürs Neo wird es in 2021 aber eh eng, wenn g3 nicht mehr benutzt wird...
 
Für Experten ist es einfach, für Laien nicht,
z.B.
Was ist Bootlader. wie stellt man fest ob er aktuell ist, falls nein, was dann?
Woher erhält man Firmware? Was ist I9301IXSAQE1, was heißt flashen? Was ist TRP, GApps usw.?
Also nur böhmische Dörfer!
 
Ja klar, paar Grundbegriffe/Kenntnisse braucht man schon. Hier kannst du sowas nachlesen. Um den Bootloader zu ermitteln lädst du dir für Laien am einfachsten die APP HW Device Info aus dem Playstore runter. Dort findest du die Angabe welchen Bootloader du hast. In meinem Fall ist das I9301IXSAQE1 - das steht unter anderem für das Modell I9301I (singlesim) . Dann noch QE Q= 2017 E = 5, also ist der Bootloader vom Mai 2017. Wenn der 3 Letzte Buchstabe also ein Q oder R ist ist das OK und du kannst mit dem Flashen (kann man mit installieren vergleichen) von TWRP (ein alternatives Recovery, welches mehr Funktionen bietet und übersichtlicher ist) via odin beginnen. Dann kannst du ins TWRP booten und von dort LOS16 flashen und wenn du willst (opengapps = Playstore) und Magisk (Rootzugriff)
 
Ein Lesen und vor allem Verstehen der vielen Bezeichnungen ist leider zu aufwendig.
Für einen Update von Windows benötigt man praktisch keine Grundkenntnisse (Download update, starten, was meist sogar automatisch geht).
Ich hoffe, dass ich nach der Corona-Krise ein Repair Cafe finde, wo man mein Smartphone etwas aktualisiert.
So ganz nebenbei: Dass die Corona-App-Ersteller Millionen für die Entwicklung kassiert haben und nicht bedacht haben, dass die am meisten betroffenen Personen oft nur ein ausgemustertes Handy ihres Enkels besitzen, ist schon ein Skandal!
 
Klar, Microsoft will ja auch Sicherheitsbedingt, dass du ein aktuelles Betriebssystem hast - Aber auch da kann einiges Schiefgehen.
Bei den Android - Phones ist das was anderes- Die Hersteller sind natürlich dran interessiert, alle 2-3 Jahre ein neues Handy zu verkaufen...

Die Begriffe musst du nicht zwangsläufig verstehen. Für dich ist nur wichtig, dass du aktuell Android - ich glaube - Version 4.4.2 drauf hast und mit Custom Rom auf Version 5.1.1, Version 9 oder Version 10 upgraden kannst - und das sind nur die offiziellen Versionen, die garantieren, dass die Kernfunktionen auch wirklich funktionieren.

Ich weiß nicht ob so was angeboten wird. Ich verkaufe manchmal Handys auf ebay, da kann man sich als Käufer dann entscheiden ob man die Stock Rom Will oder ein Custom Rom. Falls du es doch selber machen willst habe ich hier auch eine Schritt-Für-Schritt-Anleitung erstellt.
