Galaxy Note II receives Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Update, Lots of new features

Samsung releases Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy Note II GT-N7100.
Samsung has just started to push Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update to the International Samsung Galaxy Note II GT-N7100. The Galaxy Note II is one of the best sellings Android Device of 2012 and has a very large user base that’s why Samsung keeps on updating this device with all the new Android versions as they want to provide the Galaxy Note II users with their best support experience.
You might not be able to update your device to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean right away as the update is rolling out in phases. So, it might not yet be available for your country or network provider (If Your device is Carrier branded) but don’t worry the update will arrive soon.

Ist das dann auch die offizielle für Deutschland oder kommt dann noch eine andere Version von Samsung nachgereicht?

Denke mal, dass es auch die DBT werden wird. Die Frage ist nur wann...

...dies ist eine polnische FW.
Wenn man keine automatischen Updates haben will/braucht, ist das aber relativ egal!

Wenn Du KIES nutzen willst bzw. automatische Updates behalten willst und eher einen bogen um Rootrechte machst, dann ist es nix

Danke für die schnelle Antwort...ich möchte zwar nur Stock ROMs installieren brauche aber Root von daher geht eh nix mit automatischen Updates

Theoretisch dürften ja die polnische und deutsche Stock ROM dann identisch sein bis auf die Update Kies Funktion oder gibt es sonst noch Änderungen beim Empfang oder so?

Wenn das so ist, kannste die schon mal drauf basteln ... der 4.1.2 Leak war ja auch ein Leak aus Polen (auf dem die meisten Custom ROMs aufbauen) und der Empfang ist top.

Weiß nur nicht inwieweit Provider Apps installiert sind (Branding???) - aber das stellt ja mit Rootrechten auch kein Problem dar

was heißt Leak...es ist schon eine offizielle ROM oder ist das eine Beta?
Ne mein Note ist ohne Branding.....

Gilt eigentlich noch diese Rootanleitung auch für das neue ROM?

Frage nur weil ich es von Note 1 gewohnt war das es mit jedem neuen Stock ROM auch eine neue modifizierte Kernel/Root Datei zum flashen gab...

Das ist jetzt die Offizielle, die in Polend via KIES aufgespielt wird.

Es gibt seit Oktober einen Leak der 4.1.2 auf dem momentan die meisten Custom ROMs aufbauen.

Wüsste nicht, warum die Anleitung nicht funktionieren sollte.
Zusätzlich kannst Du natürlich noch einen Customkernel aufspielen oder einen gehackten Stock mit init.d Support.

Allerdings würde ich nicht die CWM sondern die TWRP nehmen.

Super vielen Dank für deine Hilfe....ich werde das ROM flashen und nach der genannten Anleitung Rooten....bin mal auf die Neuerungen gespannt

Viel Erfolg - auf xda schreiben viele von sehr smooth und dass der Akku wieder besser wäre und der Keyboard Bug aus dem Leak ist angeblich auch weg.

Die anderen Neuerungen stehen ja im OP (identisch mit dem Leak)!!

ICh warte bis monx seine ROM updated bzw wenn ich mal Zeit finde muss ich mal die Runner testen!
