Note: 2.7 marks the first time that we are dropping support for older devices. We are doing this because of the SELinux support needed to install 4.4 Kit Kat ROMs. The non-TWRP parts of the recovery image have to be built in at least a 4.1 tree and the kernel that is included in the recovery image has to support writing SELinux contexts. We don't own most of the devices that we support so we depend on outside testers and developers to help us update devices. In many cases we can't find someone readily. Come to #twrp on Freenode if you want to help bring your device up to date. You can tell right away if your device will support 4.4 ROMs in 2.7. Boot TWRP and press the console button (the square-ish button either in the bottom middle or upper right) to view the console output. If it doesn't say "Full SELinux support" in the console, then your device still needs some work. Help us help you.

Wie flashe ich das Recovery?

Flash per CWM/TWRP

• Man platziere die Zip auf den internen Speicher.
• Dann Boot ins Recovery, Vol Up beim Neustart drücken und festhalten. Oder per Custom ROM direkt ins Recovery booten.
• Im Recovery angekommen gehe zu "Install zip from sd card", je nach Recovery-Typ (CWM/PhilZ)
• -> oder nur install (im TWRP)
• sucht sich den Ordner wo man die Zip rein gelegt hat
• und flasht diese nun indem man auf die Zip klickt und folgende Frage bejat (CMW/PhilZ) oder den Slider beim TWRP nach rechts zieht.
• Anschließend könnt ihr das Recovery neustarten und habt das neue TWRP drauf.

Flash per Odin

Um in den Download Mode zu gelangen, müsst Ihr Euer Gerät erstmal ausschalten.

• Nachdem es ganz aus ist, warten bis es vibriert hat, müsst ihr Volume Down festhalten während ihr den Powerknopf betätigt.
• Power kann nach dem Start wieder losgelassen werden.
  (Alternativ: Volume Down gedrückt halten während ihr euer Tab neustartet). Machts erheblich einfacher.Das am besten, bevor man neugestartet hat. Sonst ist man ggf. zu spät dran.

Weg zum Download Mode

• Nun müsste bei euch der Warning!! Screen erscheinen
• diese Sicherheitsabfrage bestätigt ihr mit dem Lautstärkeknopf nach oben (Volume Up).

• Die Nachfrage ob der Vorgang fortgesetzt werden soll, wird mit Volume Up bestätigt.

• Wenn das erledigt ist, befindet ihr euch im Download Modus

Auf zum Recovery-Flashvorgang

• Wichtig: Falls Kies installiert ist, alle Kies Prozesse im Task Manager beenden!!!!
• Nun Odin auf dem PC starten (am besten als Administrator!) und darauf achten dass bei "F. Reset Time" kein Haken ist. Kann aber auch aktiv bleiben wenn bei "Auto Reboot" der Haken gesetzt ist. Auch be "Re-Partiton" sollte keiner sein, denn sonst ist alles weg was ihr jemals auf eurem Tablet hattet (zudem "mögliche" Brick-Gefahr).
• Den AP Button anklicken und das hier als Beispiel dienende Recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.7.0.1-lt03ltexx.img.tar einfügen.
• Das Tablet per originalem USB Kabel mit dem PC verbinden.
• Das Feld ID:COM leuchtet nun blau wenn das Tab erkannt wurde.
• Falls es nicht blau leuchtet, vergewissern ob nicht doch noch einige Kies-Prozesse im Hintergrund laufen! Ggf. per Task Manager killen.
• Ist alles ok, kanns endlich losgehen.
• Dazu START drücken!

Nun ists geschafft und ihr seit Besitzer eines Custom Recoveries.

Nein Peter ... der KNOX Warranty Counter und der Flash Counter sind zwei verschiedene Dinge.

Samsung hatte bisher einen Binary Counter der jedes nicht signierte Flashen registriert hat und den Counter immer eins hochgesetzt hat (CustomRecovery oder Kernel). Das konnte man zurück setzen. Und ich glaube KNOX Geräte haben diesen Counter gar nicht mir (bin ich mir aber nicht sicher).

Der KNOX Warranty Counter ist eine Nummer schwieriger... hier ist noch nicht zu 100% klar ob das nur ein Software Counter ist oder ein eine Hardware eFuse die "zerstört" wird.

TriangleAway kann hier nichts ausrichten. Aktuell zumindest!

Hallo,

muss man hier irgendwas spezielles beachten?

Habs nach der Anleitung gemacht jedoch komm ich nie zum TWRP Fenster.

Stattdessen lande ich immer im Bootloop.

Nach odin flash der original Firmware funktioniert das Note wieder und kann auch ganz normal in den standard-recovery modus rein.

Wurde TWRP vielleicht mit dem letzte Update geschlossen?

Falls jemand auch nicht ins recovery Menü kommt... Die 2.3.6.1 ging bei mir absolut nicht. Bin nie ins Recovery Menü gekommen. Keine Ahnung warum. Ich hab dann im Netz gelesen, dass jemand es dann mit der 2.3.6.0 probiert hat und die Version mit Odin drauf gemacht und siehe da es geht.

Oh sorry. Das kann aber nicht stimmen, weil ich nur die Wifi P600er 16GB Version hab.
Stand aber auch bei der Version wo ich es geladen habe dabei, dass es für die Wifi Version ist. Bei der probierten 2.3.1 übrigens auch. Ich habe direkt an der Quelle/mirror die Dateien geladen: Techerrata Downloads - Browsing lt03wifiue

Hast du mit deiner Version nur einmal versucht zu flashen? Hatte ein ähnliches Problem mit anderen Geräten . Habe noch die erste drauf und lasse Sie auch solange keine großen Änderungen bei neuer sind.

Also ich hab TWRP vorwiegend um Backups zu machen...der restore muss ja nicht laufen ;-D Bei der 2.3.6.1 kommt ich gar nicht erst ins Menü rein. Ich habs zwei Mal via Odin geflasht. Aber laut Changelog hat sich zwischen der 0 und der 1 eh nicht viel getan.
Kann man irgendwie einzelene Dateien aus den TWRP Backups rausholen? Ich kenne TWRP bisher nicht. Custom Roms zum flashen finde ich auch noch keine, aber ich ändere sowieso mir selber die Stockrom soweit ab, dass es dann für mich perfekt ist.

Hat einer von euch auch das Problem, dass man beim Backup nur den intern Storage auswählen kann.

Hab zwar eine 64 GB card drin, jedoch wird beim Backup diese "nicht erkannt" bzw. steht 0 MB dran und ist nicht auswählbar.

Hat jemand bereits hiermit Erfahrungen gemacht? ?

Check mal das Dateisystem der Karte. NTFS geht nicht. Vielleicht ist die card defekt?
Also ich mounte die external_sd und dann wird die mir angeboten beim Backup.
Wenn man sie nicht mountet wird nur die internal angeboten.

stimmt eigentlich, vielleicht muss ich die karte entsprechend neu formatieren (hätte ich eigentlich selber drauf kommen können ).

ne karte funktioniert einwandfrei, wenn ich wieder zuhaus bin werd ich mal meine daten darauf sichern bevor ich die neu formatier. ich werde das ergebnis hier dann posten.

wenn noch was kommt, kannst du 'Volume down' UND 'power on' gedrückt halten. einfach solange beides gedrückt halten, bis was passiert.
wenn du glück hast, kommst du so in den odin-mode.

wenn ich die 2.6.3.1 flashe, funktioniert das TWR nicht.
da kann ich 'volume up' festhalten, solange ich will. das tab startet einfach durch, als hätte ich nichts gedrückt und nur eingeschaltet.

also habe ich die 2.6.3.0 probiert ... und siehe, die läuft problemlos.

wärs möglich, daß da was 'vertauscht' wurde ?
ich bin ja nun nicht der erste, der feststellt, daß die 2.6.3.0 auf der WiFi-Version läuft.
