Alternative gibt es ja noch die Oxygen Updater App (PlayStore Link) funktioniert tadellos.
Funktioniert für alle Oneplus Geräte und auch für die Beta Versionen.

Die Updates erscheinen dort immer um ein paar Wochen versetzt - das warum, dass musst du OnePlus selber Fragen.
Deswegen wird die Vollversion auch immer im ersten Beitrag verlinkt. Außerdem, was macht der Osterhase hier, wo es doch bald Zeit für den Weihnachtsmann ist.

Ja, soeben ist es per OTA gekommen, obwohl ich es ja schon installiert hatte!?

Hatte vorher manuell auf 5.1.7 aktualisierit - dann kam die Benachrichtigung für das OTA und das konnte ich wiederum installieren. Etwas merkwürdig das Ganze.

Halt wie bei mir. War halt ein Datum 5.11.18 deshalb kam es per OTA nochmal.

Bin noch bei 5.1.7 mit Root und TWRP 3.2.1.2 und Magisk.V16 . Wie kann ich die neue Version am besten flashen, ebenso dass es hinterher auch läuft ?

Hallo zusammen,ich habe heute das Update auf Pie erhalten. Soweit alles ok! Jetzt habe ich festgestellt das unter Standort,man nicht mehr auswählen kann Hohe Genauigkeit oder Stromsparfunktion und nur Gerät! Wie kann ich jetzt nur Stromsparfunktion nutzen ohne das GPS immer an ist? denn das scheint nicht mehr zu funktionieren.

GPS ist nicht immer an, das ist jetz wohl eine der "Verbesserungen"
Es ist nur an, wenn es eine App nutzt (steht dann auch dran)

Bin mir jetzt auch nicht sicher, ob das für mich persönlich ne Verbesserung ist.. naja

@Nec75 hatte auch probleme mit dem update..egal ob OTA oder mit der Android Updater App..

auch 5.1.7 mit Root und TWRP 3.2.1.2 und Magisk.V18 ...Immer Fehlermeldung.

Hab dann das original Recovery geflasht und OTA gemacht... Läuft

Sry ... aber ich bitte um hilfe da ja einige auch auf xda Probleme mit PIE haben...

ich habe derzeit 5.1.7 installiert mit magisk und twrp 9.85 glaube... jetzt will ich eine KOMPLETTE SAUBERE (OHNE RESTMÜLL VON OREO 8.1) INSTALLATION von PIE haben, danach TWRP installieren und MAGISK...

wie sind die schritte ^^?
