hab mir open beta 22 auch grad über umwege installiert. kam vom stock und hatte noch keinen download gefunden.
also beta 21 installiert, OTA runtergeladen, aber zuvor nochmal beta 21 im twrp drüber gelassen, damit stock-recovery vorhanden ist und dann OTA installiert. (das zip-file ließ sich in einer pie-tauglichen version von twrp nicht flashen - "zip comp...err")
und schließlich nochmal einen werksreset, damit das system auch echt frisch ist
jetzt richte ich halt nochmal ein.

Daher mach ich mal nen neuen Thread im Oneplus 5 Bereich auf.

Hallo zusammen,

Nachdem seit heute morgen die Open Beta 22 verfügbar ist (siehe hier) und damit die erste Version von Android 9 (Pie) endlich für unser OnePlus 5 getestet werden kann, wollte ich hier über die ersten Erfahrungen/Verbesserungen/Bugs sprechen.

Bisher läuft bei mir alles flüssig. Ich bin direkt von der Open Beta 21 gekommen und habe keinen Wipe oder ähnliches gemacht.

Schön finde ich die neuen Animationen und Übergänge zwischen Apps.
Auch die neue Statusleiste inkl. neuen Symbolen finde ich gelungen.
Neu sind auch die Ein/Aus- sowie Lautstärke-Menüs, die neben den jeweiligen Tasten eingeblendet werden.

Einzig meine SmartWatch (Vivoactive 3) musste ich neu koppeln. Anscheinend ist was an den Bluetooth-Ei-stellungen gemacht worden.

Alles in allem bin ich wie gesagt sehr zufrieden über dieses verfrühte Weihnachtsgeschenk! ;-)

Wie gesagt, es kann und darf hier diskutiert werden. Es bedarf nicht zwei Themen dazu.

ich bin auch direkt von der offiziellen 5.1.7 (rooted, twrp) auf diese beta ohne wipe gesprungen...
Laeuft stabil und ohne Probleme, soweit jetzt sichtbar...

Welches twrp nutzt ihr denn? Hatte vorsorglich eine pie-taugliche Version installiert, haute aber nicht hin.
Hab's dann über Stock Recovery gemacht und twrp+magisk danach installiert

System läuft soweit super.

ich nutze das twrp-3.2.3-x_blu_spark_v9.85_treble-op5_op5t.
Habe zuerst in twrp das neue Rom geflashed, nachdem ich die compatibility.zip aus der zip entfernt habe.
Dierekt danach (ohne reboot) twrp nochmals geflashed wegen sonst vorhandenem Standard recovery. Dann reboot wieder in twrp und magisk und no-verity-op5(T)_V3_treble installiert. reboot system....
