Hey. Mal ne frage: Könntet Ihr über den Kernel etwas an der W-Lan Reichweite feilen? Oder ist das ein reines Hardware-Problem?

Beim abspielen von Videos ist die Lautstärke sehr leise obwohl die in den Einstellungen auf volle pulle ist.

Soweit ich gesehen hab läuft die wlan-Karte mit einer Sendeleistung von 29 dBm (umgerechnet 800mW) laut iwconfig. Dieser Wert erscheint mir etwas unglaubwürdig hoch. Vieleicht kann uns Astralix hier Auskunft geben.

Hab Problem mit dem wlan , bei mir werden dauerhaft 19mbits angezeigt , mit dem 2.3.1 waren es deutlich mehr.beim herunterladen merkt man es deutlich.Beim xpress ist odys loox eingetragen , wie man unter dem hier sehen kann.

Das tut nichts zur Sache. Ist nur nen eintrag, man könnte auch xyz hinschreiben. Dies rührt daher, das für das Loox und Xpress das gleiche Image genommen wird. Wird mal angepasst, wenn es eine Final gibt.

WLAN ist in Arbeit.

Die Gerätekennung ist, wie netlars schon sagte, eine Folge des gemeinsamen Images und wird im
nächsten Release dann richtig sein.

Jep. Entpackt und wie im Bild Haken nur bei Parameter unk Kernel drin. Ach ja. Und die neue .img ausgewählt. Hmm... Werd nochmal neu downloaden. Vielleicht klappts ja dann.

Das Problem hatte ich auch, du musst die Datei zweimal entpacken. Beim ersten Mal erscheint kernel_308_xpress_40, ohne Endung. Diese Datei wieder entpacken und du bekommst die kernel.img.

and about procesor frequency...will be available 1,2 or overclock ? because i know that this cortex a8 can go to 1,5 ghz ? thank's

Erster Test: Batterieanzeige zeigt wärend das Ladens scheinbar korrekten Batteriestand an, sieht also soweit schonmal gut aus.
Ansonsten bisher keine neuen Bugs. Weitere Tests folgen samt Bericht.

With the lastest kernel you now have about 342 MB RAM.

The specification of the RK2918 shows clearly a max. freq. of 1 GHz. However, on our experience
CPU frequencies above 1,1 GHz leads to an unstable system.

The performance of our system is world-class ;-)

Also die Akkuanzeige is auch mit dem neuen Kernel noch Fehlerhaft. Hatte laut Anzeige noch 12% und Zack, war das Tablet aus. Mein Playstation Emu läd keine Roms mehr. Mehr habe ich jetzt noch nicht entdeckt.

i understand about the frequency...and wich is the kernel with 342 ram because today i flashed the kernel with battery bug and i have 298,8 ram or is the next kernel that you will relase ? and i understand that the next relase will have more wifi power..is that true ? because with my phone and my laptop i have full signal and with odys i have 2 bars or one bar and somtimes nothing.thank's and sorry but it's a bit difficult to translate german

Sure ;-) Where are you from batu?

On the Loox it is about 342 MB. I'm not aware of a different number on the Xpress.

Astralix is working hard on the battery and the wlan issue. The chinese kernel stuff is more than creepy ...

... however, I guess we will see a proper solution in due time.

i'm from Romania Oma..on my odys xpress in antutu i have 298,8 mb of ram...maybe if on loox is 342 it can be 342 on xpress too no?
