Völkerverständigung über ein Forum - GRANDIOS !!!!!!!

On the "internalSD" (partition /userdata on the NAND) Android have to manage files from two worlds. What you
see in Windoof is only what is usable on the PC (no hidden .-files are shown). Mounting is a compromise which
will instable when switching. I'm of the impression that it is the same under all Android generations/builds ...

excuse me OMA are you talking about MTP (Multimedia transfer protocol) or Massive storage? // settings --> storage --> advanced options

in ICS builds i use to see a normal behaviour of massive storage mode, but in Jelly bean roms, i used to see that faulty behaviour when trying to activate the mass storage in a windows pc. and then deactivate it

Multimedia transfer protocol is fine if you uncheck usb debugging.

massive storage is fine if you do not care about your small partition (mnt/external_sd) that now i do not use at all, and all is ok.

if you had mnt/sdcard --> microsd and do not care about the other card (it is not accesible after using massive storage)...so you lost that partition for use while you do not restart android...but there is not a problem for me, i must remark this, this is a solution for the moment

so i am working that way, only with my micro sd card as mnt/sdcard, then it is fine. my question were about a posible solution for that. but is not needed ...thanks OMA

Hi again JK! I am following all your research about RK29 chips... I tried the Kepler 2 without overclock and everything worked... These days I tried the overclock version and i noticed that USB OTG failed to work with that kernel (JK-kepler2-1024MB-overclocked1104). Do you know what's happening...? Thank you so much... First kernel was perfect!!!

To be short, no, I have no idea.
I was using two kernels sources for my modifications from yatto/xteam. Then I implemented the cpu modifications and the rotation fixes. I have never looked at OTG, cause this was not my primary target.
I'm working on the transfer of my modifications to the Astralis/fr3ts0n source, and I hope this will fix the OTG problem. So please wait for my next release.

Hi yatto,
unfortunatly I don't have a public repo, working only on local source.
BTW sorry for the delay with the PM, I answered it a few minutes ago.

Best regards

Here you go... please tell me if wifi is working correct, if not, I'll have to disable BT again and search for a solution, but that will take much more time.

I tryed this kernel on my 810c but it didn't boot....

I also tryed the kernel for neox7, it boots, but it has not Bt active ?!

Can you make me a kernel 800x600 with 512MB ram and BT on ?

best regards...

yatto.....

Yes, that's a kernel for the pascal2 with 1024MB Memory, don't think that it work on a 512MB Model.

I think the correct kernel is the X8 kernel, it has 800x600 and 512MB RAM. But the kernel for the X8 is an old one, will release a new one soon.

Update for Kepler2 and Pascal2 and Oma's JB

Features Kepler2/Pascal2:
Max CPU 1104MHz
Min CPU 24MHz
DDR Ram 1024MB/430MHz
BT-Stack Update by fr3ts0n

If someone tries the Oma CM10 and the screen rotates 90 degrees wrong, I'm abe to make a special CM10 Version of the kernel.

Please give feedback!

Hi again JK! Thanks for this new kernel for Kepler 2 (pascal 2 too) I have to report some problems... It seems to work well but i tested it and i have problems with audio... It sounds too loud! Well i know... i can put it down and that will be fine... but... When i play "Notification sound" (you will know it "pixxie dust" or something like that) i lost sound... I had to reboot tablet to recover it... I think its because this notification is too loud and it reaches the maximun sound limit of our speakers... It happens with games too...

Hi djkail,
something I had not noticed before. But it could be that I did not notice it, cause i put my general volume down to a very low level. I'll have a look at it, don't know if I can make a correction in the kernel for that, or if it is something in JB code.

hey, new kernel !!!

wow, great blue boot logo...

***********
all seems to work, but hdmi and otg do not works....
no problem at least for me, i do not use that functions.

thanks master JochenKauz
