ohhh...no luck this time, wifi is not working. it keeps getting the message "activating wifi" and no wifi networks are in the list

it keeps this state for a while, then it switch to "wifi off"

Hmm.. but you can activate it without switching bluetooth on?
Then I can try to switch bluetooth off in this kernel, only for a try.
Do you have time for this test?

Here is the next test kernel, if this does not work I must do a complete diff of all wifi settings, not easy to manage.

I have switched off the bluetooth stack, does it work better?

Yes, it should do. was not able to test it yet, but support is enabled.
I will merge my kernel with Astralix/fr3ts0n and there it is working, my kernel does not differ very much.
Our problem with the wifi on X7/Pascal2 is caused by the bluetooth. The bluetooth has the same power signal on USB than the wifi chip, if bluetooth is switched off, what is normal without having a BT chip, the wifi chip gets also switched off.

flashing only parameter and kernel (that's the way?) and wifi does not work

i am flashing again all the rom because i have deleted the bluetooth.apk in system/app for testing purposes...lol

********** just for curiosity and not related to your perfect kernel ***

the only thing that i have noticed in jb oma and xteam is that the massive storage mode is not working properly, it only mounts mnt/sdcard on windows pc but when unpluged USB the other card (the card that is not shown in windows pc) is also lost in android...you can not access the files in anyway until you restart. do you know why it occurs? it is so strange...and i have seen this in other roms JB.

Thanks for your warm words, I'm glad that I was able to help you and the spanish BQ community, you also helped me much, cause now I think my X7 kernel is ready for launch.

Regarding the SD problem, I'm sorry no answer yet, but I will discuss this with Oma/Astralix/fr3ts0n. Perhaps we find a solution. But only to mention it, I have seen this weird behavior on my X8 too.
