The firmware in post #178 is for BCM4329. For BCM4319 you will need the attached firmware.

Tryed but it still doesn't work ! with bcm3419 driver in kernel, wifi switch power on, but i can't find any network

in dmesg i have no errors !

:O

I guess we are talking about BCM4329:

Code:
[COLOR=#000000][COLOR=#DD0000]<4>[   32.877770] Current WiFi chip is BCM4329.
<4>[   32.894131] =======================================================

<4>[   32.969657] =======================================================
<4>[   33.005159] BCM4329 Wi-Fi driver (Powered by Rockchip,Ver 2.00) init.
<4>[   33.043549] wifi_set_power = 1
<6>[   33.065042] rk29sdk_wifi_power: 1[/COLOR][/COLOR]
Pls verify with one of my builds and Jochens Kernel.

Well,
Ii tryed Jokens'kernel with bcn4329 support, and i made myself a kernel with bcm4329 driver with the same result : in dmesg everything fine, but wifi didn't power on.
in etc/firmware i have the files that you provided on this forum.

So i compiled a kernel with bcm4319 driver and so, i powered on the Wifi... but no network found.....
So i think that the right kernel driver is bcm4319....

any ideas ?

Thanks,

yatto

You can try to replace the whole folder. Firmware is from an Arnova 7G2 which uses the BCM4319 chip.

Hey Oma a little OT :

in your roms, the battery History Usage Details works ?

For most Tabs yes. For other you will need a specific services.jar to be find here.

Oma.....

if you like battery history Usage linke in this screenshot :

you have to make a power_profile.xml for your hardware and put it in framework-res.apk

At this link there is the Xteam's framework-res.apk, with the power_profile.xml for mediacom 810c (M803HC) hardware.

Zippyshare.com - framework-res.apk

Have Fun !

Hi JK! Some report from Kepler 2 users...

Some users report that they have problems with CM10 (Oma) and your patched kernel for CM10. They say that they have to tilt tablet to them for rotation to work properly... Maybe its a minor problem or calibration problem. It will be great if you can take a look to it...
They used kernel from here:
https://www.android-hilfe.de/forum/...mit-autorotation-fix.319836.html#post-4324216
They are reporting too that "button wifi" hangs... You press it but wifi doesnt turn on... They have to wait a while and then it works... Is it a problem with kernel? Or CM10? Thanks in advance... Good work!!! :biggrin:

Some, or all users who use CM10 from Oma?
Last test from me with CM10 worked very well.
But Oma is working on a new CM10 release, with that release I will build new kernels as well, cause we have changed the sensor.lib.

This is something I have seen on JB too. I think its something with the power management. If you switch off wifi, it needs some time to get back to operation.

Hey Jokens, have you see the links in mp i sent you ? ;)

I hope you like them...

Bye,

Yes seen them, many thanks..
Interesting to look at.

Ok. I have made a mistake writing... The only problem is with ROTATION. We have to tilt to turn the screen... Everything except that is working fine my friend... I am reporting from other users and i didnt test myself. Thats why i writed "some users"...
About wifi problem... When i turn on tablet and wifi was previously off before turning it on, it happens too... so... is it normal? Thanks for your attention... you are the best! :thumbsup:

I think the wifi has always this problem. If you switch it off and then switch it on again, it has to be reinitialised. I don't think that I can make something against it.

Regarding the rotation problem. What kernel exactly is he using, and what version of CM10? Did he install a model fix or not?
I'm asking, because a model fix is not needed with the latest CM10 and the latest CM10 kernel.

He was using lastest kernel v8 for cm10. He was using latest version of cm10 1.2 from Oma. He didnt say that he installed model fix, only nand fix. I will ask it and I will report later. Thank you.

You're welcome.

I've tested today with last CM10 1.2 from Oma... and rotation was working as expected... so there must be a difference.

I didnt have patience... I have changed ROM. I have installed Oma ROM Cm10 1.2. No problem with rotation for me... :confused: Sorry I bothered.
