Nvidia hat für die Shield Android TV-Box das Android-Update "N" offiziell bestätigt.

Google also provided a look at future updates coming to Android N. Among the most anticipated are DVR support and multiscreen viewing (picture-in-picture), so you can, for example, download new games on your SHIELD Android TV while you watch video content..

Offtopic...

ich hoffe das mit Android N Nvidia die VR Daydream Home Möglichkeiten mit einem eigenem VR Headset umsetzt bzw. deswegen auch das Update auf Android N eingeplant wird. Ich habe das Gefühl, das Nvidia, wenn überhaupt, dann nur in dem Preissegment NSTV VR Setup auf X1 Chipsatz bis 200€ mit Google's Vorgaben eine eigene Lösung anbieten wird. Die Frage ist nur ob die Wifi Bandbreite vom GamePad ausreichen würde um ein MS Hololens-ähnliches Headset mit Akku anzubinden oder ob per HDMI Splitter eine Lösung geschaffen wird.
