The G6 is on track to take that lead for LG, which has been confirmed to Wall Street Journal by LG’s Chief Technology Officer, Skott Ahn. He says LG will be releasing G6 “in the very near future.”
According to the report, LG G6 will initially be launched in Europe, North America, and South Korea. The interesting fact would be the decision of moving “away from the modular design,” which was originally introduced with G5. Generally speaking, G5 didn’t perform well due to the poor built quality and modules that costs end users even more, so we would surprise if G6 indeed lacks modular functionality.
