A1107 in USA schon mit ICS available

Wurde schon im Ics Thread mal kurz besprochen, daher kenne ich es schon. Das interessante ist ja, das Lenovo schon diese Ics Version als ausgereift sieht, die mMn aber noch vieeeeeel zu viele Fehler hat.

Jep, wurde bereits von Anddior angeschnitten.

Mich würde mal interessieren, ob sich an der Hardware außer dem RAM etwas geändert hat.
Ansonsten muss es eine frühere ICS-Build sein als die aktuelle 014_116.
BHF hatte mal erwähnt, dass Lenovo die Build 108 als erste Release-Version erwägt.

Das RAM hat sich witzigerweise gar nicht verdoppelt, so war es auf XDA zu lesen. Ob das jetzt ein Fehler von Lenovo oder Best Buy war, blieb ungeklärt. Der entsprechende Käufer hat das A1 jedenfalls retourniert. Zur Zeit wird defakto das gleiche A1 (512 MB RAM, 16 G Flash) nur mit ICS für 50 USD mehr verkauft.

"The A1-07 model was sold in multiple regions, and shipped with Gingerbread (2.3) while the A1-107 (Type 2228-C1U) model that is shipping with ICS preloaded is sold through Best Buy is a US only model and the OTAs that you are seeing are for that system and not the prior.

As there are no present plans to release multiple images, there won't be an OTA push of ICS for the existing A1-07 models. I know that skillful people are able to load the image for the A1-107 model, and I expect that the ICS source files for the new A1 are in the process of being made available.

no comment - except never again Lenovo - luckily Nexus 7 is for same price and support longer than half a year.

Klingt nett. Wenn die Sourcen wirklich freigegeben werden, wird anddior sich freuen.
