Hey Yank,
mein S3 ist gestern eingetroffen und habe mir gleich die Wanam V5.4 und 3.1g Version deines Kernels geflasht. Bin mit der Performance soweit zu frieden,allerdings habe ich da ein kleines Problem: Sobald ich mein S3 am PC anschließe wird es zwar erkannt, aber wenn ich dann drauf zugreifen will zeigt er mir weder phone noch card an. Erst nach mehrmaligem verbinden kann ich darauf zugreifen. Hast du oder jmd anders eine Idee woran das liegt?

Nebenbei, hat nix mit deinem Problem zu tun, aber verwende 3.1h

Hatte ich bisweilen nicht ?!

Was normal ist, oder mir aufgefallen ist, die Laufwerke tauchen bei mir erst auf, wenn ich das S3 "unlocke", also mein PIN eingebe von Lockscreen ... ?

So nachdem nun das Jellybam(4.1.0 basierend auf jB 4.1.2) Rom Probleme mit der Boeffla engine hatte(Was vielleicht im OP erwähnt werden sollte), bin ich nun auf das Vanilla Root(jb 4.2.1) gewechselt dort funktioniert fast alles.

Privacy mode und DAC muß deaktiviert werden um Radio hören zu könnem, eventuell liegt das aber an der Spirit FM app.

Ganz kurz eingehakt: Ja, DAC Direct musst Du bei 3rd Party Radio-Apps abschalten. Bei der Stock-App wird es erkannt und automatisch umgestellt.

Das wird wohl an der Wanam liegen,mit dem Kernel hat das nichts zutun.Ich habe das gleiche problem gehabt mit der Wanam,jetzt fahre ich die GoA mit den aktuellen Kernel und es wird sofort erkannt.Mit der Rom von "D das gleiche,kein problem.

Scheint wirklich an der Rom zu liegen. Ich habe mir eben die Omega geflasht und siehe da es wird einwandfrei erkannt. Weleche Version der Wanam hattest du drauf vor dem Wechsel?

Also ganz ehrlich, vom V6 halte ich nicht wirklich viel, das ist wiederum so ein alles in einem für alle Geräte wundertüten Dings

Das nur meine Meinung zum Ding, nun aber zu deiner Frage

LMK ist immer aktiv, hat nix mit meinem Kernel spezifisch zu tun, Aroma erlaubt nur die LMK Parameter zu verstellen.

Das tut V6 unter anderem auch.

Willst du also V6 nutzen, dann solltest du in Aroma bei LMK "don't set here" wählen, da es ja V6 setzen soll.

Übrigens genau so solltest du auch swappiness einstellen, V6 setzt es sogar glaubt ich auf 0 oder so (schon lange her, dass ich da reingekuckt hab).

Allerdings wenn du zram oder hardswap verwendest wäre das nicht sehr sinnvoll.

Das wäre dann ein Beispiel von nem Ding, was V6 pauschal abschaltet, obwohl es unter Umständen keinen Sinn macht, daher mag ich diese Wunderdinger gar nicht

Ich glaub es gibt app die das für dich greife, sonst in einem Terminal (als su) :

dmesg >/mnt/extSdCard/dmesg.log
logcat >/mnt/extSdCard/logcat.log

Allerdings bei logcat musst du glaub ich dann aber CTRL-C drücken, damit es aufhört die Datei zu befüllen...

Dann hast du beie Logs in root Verzeichnis deiner externen SD Karte.

Frage fast übersehen

Also ganz ehrlich, vom V6 halte ich nicht wirklich viel, das ist wiederum so ein alles in einem für alle Geräte wundertüten Dings

Das nur meine Meinung zum Ding, nun aber zu deiner Frage

LMK ist immer aktiv, hat nix mit meinem Kernel spezifisch zu tun, Aroma erlaubt nur die LMK Parameter zu verstellen.

Das tut V6 unter anderem auch.

Willst du also V6 nutzen, dann solltest du in Aroma bei LMK "don't set here" wählen, da es ja V6 setzen soll.

Übrigens genau so solltest du auch swappiness einstellen, V6 setzt es sogar glaubt ich auf 0 oder so (schon lange her, dass ich da reingekuckt hab).

Allerdings wenn du zram oder hardswap verwendest wäre das nicht sehr sinnvoll.

Das wäre dann ein Beispiel von nem Ding, was V6 pauschal abschaltet, obwohl es unter Umständen keinen Sinn macht, daher mag ich diese Wunderdinger gar nicht

Okay danke dir Yank. Das habe ich mir schon fast gedacht. Ich trau diesen universalen Wündertüten auch nicht über den Weg. Beim Install von der Omega war ja V6 dabei, deswegen werde ich das mal fix disablen .

So die V6 Datei ist aus dem init.d Ordner verschwunden. ABer mal ne frage wie heißen die Script Datein von Yank? Ich frag nur weil mein init.d Ordner sieht so leer aus. Wobei ich beim Kernelflash init.d auf yes gestellt habe was ja bei der Omega richtig ist wenn ich das richtig gelesen habe.

Ich habe beide Zipdateien angeschaut und im init.d Ordner ist die betroffene Date nicht mehr vorhanden von daher sollte jetzt alles gut sein.

Wenn du verhindern willst, dass jemand es benutzen kann, willst du normalerweise auch nicht, dass dieser jemand das phone einfach an den PC steckt und fröhlich Daten rumzieht.
(Nicht dass das ein effektiver Schutz ist, aber für "normalos" reicht es, deswegen Rede ich von "Stufe")
