Hallo liebe SGS2-Gemeinde,

ich möchte euch hier noch einen Kernel vorstellen, der sowohl auf Sammy-ROMs als auch auf AOSP-ROMs und auch auf MIUI-basierenden ROMs funktioniert.

Der Dev scheint nicht unerfahren zu sein, da er sowohl für Galaxy 3 als auch für das Note bereits Kernel gebastelt habe. Unbekannt ist er auch nicht, da er damals den DarkKnight für das CheckROM bastelte.

Habe den DK seit ca. 24 stunden drauf mit Goa 4.5.4. Es fällt mir jedoch noch etwas schwer, ein vernünftiges Urteil zu bilden, hier mein bisheriger Eindruck:

- Akku nach ca.16h Laufzeit=33% (Poweruser/100% Helligkeit) = ähnlich dem Siyah Kernel

- Touch- und Scrollverhalten nun um ein vielfaches besser, fast(!) GB feeling.Vor allem mit dem Apex-Launcher spürbar. Muss dies aber nochmal gegen testen, da ich den gefühlten Unterschied als zu extrem empfinde.

- CWM-App 3.15 nicht kompatibel.


Nachtrag v. 10.05.2012:

- Touch- und Scrollverhalten wurde nochmal mit dem neuesten Siyah gegen getestet. Hier gab es nun so gut wie keine Unterschiede mehr.

- Mehrere freezes nach dem Aufwecken aus dem deepsleep.

- Akkulaufzeit doch leicht schlechter, als der Siyah, vor allem wenn WLAN aktiv ist.

Erst mal wieder zurück zum Siyah Kernel

bei mir läuft er erst paar stunden aber alles ohne probleme.. sehe aber keinen wirklichen unterschiede beim scrollverhalten (nutze die vk rom, früher mit siyah kernel)

Du hattest vorher den Siyah drauf, ne? Der bringt wohl gemoddete liblights o.ä. mit, die dann die Touchkeys bei allen anderen Kernels b0rken.
imo ja ziemlich großer Fail sowas.

Werde dann nachher nochmal den 1.1 probieren.

So hab jetzt nochmal den DK geflashed aber immer noch das gleiche Prob. Vorher Fullwipe, dann Backup Goa mit cf-root danach UKCS und dann den DK.

schon merkwürdig bei ics hab ich immer
mehr verbrauch als bei GB :-/

da hat der darknight selbst bei 10% noch eine
gerade linie über die Nacht gezogen

cwm 3.15 wir auch endlich unterstützt

glaub aber die tasten leuchten noch durch
aber denke nicht so stark wie vorher

achja und bei der 1.0 ist wenn ich manuell
mein wlan aktiviert habe mein handy
ausgegangen mal sehen ob das behoben ist

hmmm... seit 1.0 geht das handy aus ztw wenn display aus geht.... 1.1 keine änderung und jetzt bin ich wieder bei cf root die keys leuchten noch immer obwohl schon 3 mal ukcs ... komisch chwck nich woran es liegt

Hast du mal unter Einstellungen, Display geschaut, da kann man die touchkays einstellen. Vielleicht sind Sie noch auf Dauer eingestellt.
Ich bin jetzt erstmal wieder beim Abyss gelandet

Kann man das OC in der Recovery ausschalten bzw den Taktungsbereich festlegen? Ich hab bei meinem Handy Probleme (Freeze) wenn die Taktung über 1400Mhz geht.
