Ich hab hier noch ein nandroid der CheckRom_v6 rumliegen... Ich gucke morgen mal ob ich die als Dual–Boot draufbasteln kann... (oder warte noch auf die Funktion xD)

Nunja aber sie ist bisschen veraltet, komplizierter und unterstützt ics nicht

Und Hellcat ist kein (echtes) Dualboot sondern ein Backup/Restore Akt

Hier schonmal ein kleiner vorgeschmack auf die v3.1beta1

Changelog:

• touchscreen sensitivity tweaks
• sio fifo_batch=1
• set default usb mode to mass_storage for MIUI ROMs.
• disabled smooth scaling for interactive based governors (lulzactive and interactive)
• Dual-booting

For now, you will only have one additional option available in CWM Touch Recovery and that is cloning your primary ROM as secondary.
If you want to have another ROM as secondary ROM, follow these steps:

1. Make a nandroid backup of your existing ROM
2. wipe everything and install the other ROM
3. Boot the ROM and make customizations. Don’t forget to reflash SiyahKernel if the ROM flashes another kernel.
4. Use CWM Touch Recovery to clone your rom as secondary rom.
5. Restore nandroid backup

Keep in mind that you will not be able to flash additional CWM packages to the secondary ROM. Therefore, it is important that you have flashed all additional packages and customizations in the third step before you make the clone in the 4th step.
If you do not make any cloning you won’t be prompted to boot the second ROM.
remember: you may need to reflash this kernel after a nandroid restore if your nandroid backup is created with another kernel.
In time, other dual-booting options in CWM Touch Recovery will be implemented.

Wenn das der Fall ist, dann ist es normal das du kein Netz hast.
Oder habe ich was falsch verstanden.

Nee, hast Du absolut richtig verstanden.
Hab jetzt gestern noch einen Full Wipe gemacht. Hatte den Fehler allerdings wieder nachdem ich den 3.0.1 geflasht hatte.
Ich denke irgendwie wird meine SIM-Karte nicht erkannt. (IMEI vorhanden, aber keine Netz-Registrierung). Komischerweise erkennt mein Handy trotzdem die Kontakte auf der SIM...
Bin aber beruhigt, dass ich nicht der einzige mit dem Problem bin.
Hab jetzt auf beta7 gewechselt und läuft einwandfrei.

Hab jetzt den 3.0.1beta1 drauf und der Fehler ist nicht mehr da

Dual Boot funktioniert und kommt sehr bald ( wohl heute noch )

touch sensitivity is quite improved in v3.1beta1

dualbooting is tested and it works. I need some more testing with MIUI roms...

it will be released in an hour... you'll be amazed

I will improve boot time in the next release.
for now there is no optimization in that part.
everything is implemented in a quick&dirty way.

I will update wifi driver and some other parts in the next version using the korean ICS kernel. it seems that they have updated wifi driver to some 2012 version and it also has some other improvements.
for now, I merged the click sound preventing part in sound driver. it sometimes happens when you reboot your device.
touch sensitivity settings are also copied from the korean version.

Das mit dem Dual Boot klingt wirklich sehr interessant. Kann mir noch nicht so richtig vorstellen, dass es zuverlässig funktionieren wird, aber die Möglichkeit schnell zwischen CM9 & Stock zu wechseln wäre wirklich Klasse ...

• Dual-booting

Some notes about dualbooting:

• there is no progress bar during the cloning process. it will be implemented later but for now, be patient because the size of data is huge and may take up to 10 minutes to clone.
• there are some checks missing. for example if you do not have enough space in your internal sdcard (you need 2.1GB free space) you will not get a warning or error, but dual booting won’t work. remember, this is beta and not all features are implemented yet. In time, other dual-booting options in CWM Touch Recovery will be implemented.
• you won’t be able to use mass storage mode for /sdcard in second rom because we have our data and cache partitions on /sdcard. only external sdcard will be mounted if you are using mass_storage mode. mtp should work fine for sdcard.

Ja finde Dualboot auch sehr Interessant, aber werde als zweite ROM bestimmt keine ne Stock drauf zu machen . Funktioniert Dualboot denn schon oder erst mit dem nächsten Release?

Geht nicht, nur ICS Roms.

Warum, weil man den Kernel dazu braucht. Diesen gibts in dieser Form nicht für GB.

Hi hatte er nicht in seinem letzten GB Kernel auch die Funktion für Dualboot im CWM gehabt dachte so was mal da gelesen zu haben.

RC ist ein Release Kandidat. Also besser/fehlerfreier als beta.
