[KERNEL][JB] Mackay JB 4.1 v0.199 Final + JB 4.2 v0.333 TWRP+CWM (08.07)

Da wohl einige Probleme mit TWRP haben/hatten gibt es einen neuen Test-Kernel:

I had some issues with TWRP myself as well. So it is not unique to external SD users.

I made a new test version:
rootaxbox.no-ip.org - /kasper_h/kernels/JB42/test/
276-test

I changed part of the TWRP. I rebooted into recovery several times and everytime it worked. So I hope it now finally works!

For those having issues installing anything. What I did is restore only the boot partition from an existing TWRP backup which contained an older kernel version. I then rebooted into recovery and flashed the 276-test version.

This one will automatically delete the .twrps file (so also TWRP settings will be lost). It should solve the issue with the install button (keep my fingers crossed).

Tip: before installing the kernel make a backup of the boot-partition of the phone: makes it easy to recover if the new kernel fails -> you can then get back without having to use the install button.

Wo ist denn der unterschied zw. den Ordnern cwm und twrp?
Im Ordner cwm gibt es dann wiederum zwei Datein cmc und vc, wo ist hier der Unterschied?

Das kleine t.... = TWRP. Was CMC und VC bedeutet, steht in kaspers XDA-thread.

Manchmal hilft es, wenn man vor Gebrauch der Tastatur das Gehirn einschaltet und die Augen auf macht!
Wenn die Leute sich vorher informieren würden, bevor sie die Foren vollmüllen, dann wären die Threads nur halb so lang.
Im Gegenzug würde man dann die richtigen Antworten auch schneller finden.

Ist aber nur meine subjektive Meinung.

Aber wie soll das gehen? In der Mackay Rom kann ich das einstellen. Bei der Hell,die ich aktuell drauf habe will er nur TWRP machen.

Ja, ich bin mir ziemlich sicher, dass es dafür ein ZIP gibt, dass die "Device Settings" entsprechend ändert und die Mackay Optionen hinzufügt. Habe gerade bei XDA gesucht, aber konnte nix finden. Ich habe aber mal nachgefragt und werde es dann hier posten, wenn ich mehr weiß.

Edit: es gab schon Antwort... Ich kann allerdings nicht garantieren, dass es genau das ist, was du suchst und auch nicht, dass es wirklich funktioniert.

But it's not supported anymore or for now for others rom than Mackay so reports about it may be to just keep kasper-h informed that it works fine (except for govs and schedulers choices) on some rom,which rom base (cm10.1 or else) and how it appears in your rom (app drawer,phone settings or both),but not to report bugs or ask support about it...i can't talk in kasper-h place but I guess
