Warum sollen die tasten auch an sein wenn das Display an ist? Sinn und Zweck der bln ist es, dass wenn dein Handy auf dem Tisch liegt du siehst wenn du z.B. eine Nachricht drauf hast, also das dann die tasten leuchten.

Einstellung 98stm_tweak
echo "0" > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/conf/all/rp_filter
Wo kann ich diese ausschalten oder ist es gar nicht der Kernel

Und das App 1VPN geht auch nicht mehr
meldet immer PW oder Server falsch
Navigon Select kann ich auch nicht installieren

habe das neuste Samsung Rom zum Test aufgespielt
und alles geht hilft bei der suche oder ?

ich habe heute morgen den Kernel installiert...jetzt nach ein paar Stunden merke ich, daß ein paar Apps fehlen, Market und Google Talk zum Beispiel...liegt das am Kernel oder an dem CM7 update auf die #29?

Ok about the wifi not fully working, my encryption is wpa-psk, and I'm just connecting to my home wifi network, no static ip or anything.

does one of the following attached kernels help ?

the full-wifi-upd might stay speed-wise the same but fix some issues

the other one 'full' might speed up WIFI


also: different compiler flags are used and the RIL / modem part got newly compiled with "stock" (CM7 4.4.3) compiler to reduce the massive 3G drain


I don't have it up long yet on the phone but it seems to help ...

not sure about your wifi issue


those are INTERNAL builds - thus work in progress

all source should be spread across the branches in the repo ...

if it still doesn't help - try using the kernel without the scripts and see whether that makes a change

if yes - it's one of the network-related security settings or one of the new patches that soon will also get into the cm7 stock kernel ...

it's not really "forced"

if you take the older additional scripts into account it was "forced smartass", "forced ondemand", etc. ^^


just change the awake_governor like Cloudstripe wrote

in S98screenstate_scaling in the kernel-package (system/etc/init.d/)

and re-install the kernel

then you should have smartass governor

liegt mit Sicherheit nicht am Kernel - daran wird wohl das Update Schuld sein,

es sollte jedoch nicht /system oder andere Teile des Handys löschen :\

der Kernel ist schließlich auf maximale Leistung + Battery-Laufzeit ausgelegt

ich konnte machen was ich wollte es ging einfach nicht mehr
gerät neu formatiert
alles neu auf gespielt und man glaubt es kaum
alles geht wieder was war das den entstanden nach dem Update
ich vermute es hängt alles mit dem Modem Problem zusammen
Modem wechseln geht nicht oder nur ein bestimmtes

FYI:

Deep Sleep does work with NEO_08_V2

if it's not sleeping either it's a small (upstream) kernel bug

-> then reboot


or an app or you are keeping it alive cause you're looking too often at the phone ^^

-> kill apps, give it some time and then it should be in Deep Sleep


some times it needs several minutes until it has calmed itself down and can go into Deep Sleep


the kernel has several fixes so this generally should go faster than stock CM7 kernel but - as already written - there are still factors that might keep it awake

and it's more susceptible in that regard than stock (samsung) kernel + ROM



WIFI issue for some that it does not transfer data:

- dunno right now what might help - perhaps it's an issue on your side

for me it works perfectly (from what I can tell)

Falls wieder Probleme auftreten beim Governorwechsel kannst du gerne auf meinen Blog verweisen. Ich hab dort mal ein kleines HowTo geschrieben und deine zips angepasst, damit man direkt über cwm den Governor wechseln kann (scheint ja für manche hier ein Problem zu sein)

Hab jetzt mal den neo 9-LED rauf (#35) soweit so gut

Aber die Farben sind ne Katastrophe. Habe viel blau /weiß auf den screens ...weiß ist jetzt beige /gelb - also nicht im Sinne des Gestalters

Schaut bei stock besser aus.

Läuft jetzt auf smartass und ist echt ziemlich smooth - UV & bat. muss ich noch testen.

Aber bitte nimm voodoo c. raus - echt schlimm.

Noch ne Frage: wie viel scripts sollten nach flash in Init.d sein?

Ich finde die gamma werte und die farbtemperatur beim stock kernel schlimm.
Das schöne an vc ist ja dass man sich das display so einstellen kann wie man es bevorzugt.
Für mich war das immer der hauptgrund einen customkernel zu verwenden.
Mir waren die farben auch etwas zu warm mit den standard vc einstellungen. Das lässt sich aber innerhalb von sekunden ändern ...
