Arbeitsspeicher (RAM) zu klein? Auslagerungsdatei (Swap) nutzen!

This sounds quite dramatic. However, most of us see random reboots, but not as heavy as you seem to have. I found out that the swappiness parameter helps - the lower, the better in my experience. However, even with low values, I had at least one reboot every day. And as I needed swap memory mainly for gaming, I currently have turned it off.
The reason for this is still unknown. I believe that the communication between SD card and smartphone is not as reliable as it should be, maybe there are even some locks due to a concurrent access by Link2SD and Swapper2 that cause errors and finally instabilities.

The most important thing I can recommend from the usage of both tools in the last months: Make sure to do regular backups, either with Titanium Backup or with CWM.

I'm not use "Swapper 2" anymore, I try "Swap_enabler.sh" on XDA forrum, but it still reboot, so I think kernel_swap maybe have some bug !
I use V6 supperchanger update 9 rc11 test 4 with : 100% with Nitrolag instaled and "Kickasskernellize up3 rc11"
I think your way maybe better, I'm will make two Widget to turn on or off swap when need!

Hi, i tried it a good while ago. I moved all possible apps with Link2SD and used swap with swapiness from 0 to 100 but no reboots. Maybe i will build a new kernel that save his log messages into a special area of RAM so you can read it after reboot. I hope that will give us a hint what the problem is.

My Swap patition = 256MB, After few hours - I see that swapuser ~ 150MB or higher it will reboot. If you use "Swapper 2" with higer Swappiness > 10, the more higher the more reboot we have.
It not reboot after bootup phone!

I have the same problems.
Reboots with Swap and without SWAP. With the original Firmware there wasn´t this Problems.

But I have no Idea what it is.

With disabled SWAP I Have a reboot once a day.

With enableds SWAP sometimes 2 Reboots a day and the mobile phone needs 2 time power. So the Accu is discharged twice fast as without SWAP.

I'm too when swapoff my device don't reboots. but when swapon it reboot random

Hallo,
seit kurzem bin ich auch Besitzer eines Huawei Y200.
Soweit finde ich das Gerät echt toll.
Nur mit dem Speicher bin ich echt unzufrieden.
Root/Superuser Rechte habe ich bereits und das klappt auch alles prima.
Was ich aber absolut nicht hinbekomme ist meine 32GB SDHD Karte auch als Ram Speicher zu nutzen/zu erweitern..... ich habe bereits gegoogelt und immer wieder tauchten die APPS Swapper und Swapper2 auf.
Swapper2 läßt sich zwar installieren. Aber ich kann keine Swap Datei erstellen.
Bekomme dann immer Fehlermeldungen.
Mit der Vorversion Swapper APP komme ich immerhin schonmal etwas weiter.
Diese installiert eine Datei z.b. 1 Gb oder 300 MB auf der SD Karte.
Trotzdem funktioniert das auch nicht.
Laut "Terminal Emulator" unter Eingabe von "free" und auch unter Memory Check-Swapinfo APP habe ich 0 mb an swap. Rootrechte haben alle Programme von mir bekommen. Wird auch so angezeigt.
Ebenso wird auch leider kein größerer Wert bei der Standart Speicher Abfrage des Y200 angezeigt.

Nun eine Fragen...... muss ich die SD Karte vielleicht partionieren? Würde das dann vielleicht gehen?

Falls nicht, hat es irgendwer sonst irgendwie hinbekommen?
Gibt es alternativen die vielleicht mit dem Y200 funktionieren?
Oder liegt es doch einfach am kernel des Speichers?
Ich habe eine Datei bekommen mit Namen Fuchsteufel-Kernel.zip.
Leider kenne ich mich damit absolut nicht aus.

bist dir aber sicher das der kernel auch geflasht wurde, was steht bei dir unter Einstellungen/Kernel-Version.
Bei Swapper muß du den hacken setzen, bei start Ausführen oder wie es dort steht, evtl. noch einen neustart.

P.s. Ja beim swapper App (nicht swapper2) erscheinte auch immer "Wurden Rootrechte gewährt" und eine Swap Datei z.b. 1 Gb als Test oder auch mal 300mb versucht, waren auf der SD Karte.

darum funktioniert auch Swapper nicht, denn du hast den kernel nicht geflasht. wie du einen kernel flasht weist du ?

Gerootet habe ich das Y200 aber keine Ahnung wie das mit Kernel geht.

Die Dateien Root_Y200_v5.2.zip + 1200MHz_boot.img downloaden, die .zip Datei entpacken und die .img in den entpackten Ordner kopieren.
Am Handy unter Einstellung -> Schnellstart aus und USB-Debugging an
Handy ausschalten.
Volume Down + Startknopf gleichzeitig drücken ca. 10-15s warten.
Der Startscreen sollte nun fest erscheinen.
Handy mit dem USB-Kabel an den PC verbinden.
Mit CMD zum entpackten Ordner naviegieren und folgendes eintippen.
fastboot flash boot 1200MHz_boot.img mit Enter bestötigen.
Dann noch fastboot reboot damit das Handy neu startet.
