Offizielle Updates für das HTC 10

Die amerikanische Version hat bis jetzt immer das neuste bekommen. Die sind da i.wie besser versorgt. Die mussten nicht seit Februar auf ein neues Update warten.

Ich bin eigentlich seit nem Jahr auch ganz zufrieden und hatte bisher keine nennenswerte Probleme. Auch ohne ständige Updates. Sollen die Schreier hier zu Apple gehn...

Die Aussage hat zwar nicht HTC DACH geäußert sondern HTC America, aber die Aussage bleibt die gleiche.

Was mich grad' richtig ärgert ist die Popup-Overlay-Funktion die Threema nun verursacht seit dem neuesten Sicherheitsupdate. Ist mir rätselhaft, wie das überhaupt sein kann. Liegt nicht an einem Threemaupdate, gab keines. JEDE neue Nachricht wird mir per Popup "das von oben einfährt" dargestellt. Wie unglaublich lästig ist das denn?

Ich kann seit dem Update nicht mehr angerufen werden. Bin bei Debitel D1+LTE. Wenn mich jemand anruft, dauert es ca 1 Minute und dann wird entweder die Verbindung einfach beendet oder derjenige landet bei der Mobilbox. Anrufe tätigen kann ich, ich habe aber das Gefühl, dass es viel länger dauert, bis ich durchkomme.

Wenn ich im Netzwerkmodus nun von "2G/3G/4G automatisch" auf "2G/3G automatisch" stelle, funktioniert das telefonieren wieder problemlos... dann ist aber LTE futsch. Evtl. nicht vorhandenes VoLTE bei debitel was Probleme macht?

Das Problem scheint nun gelöst. Debitel hat mir VoLTE+WLAN Call freigeschaltet und seit dem kann ich bei aktiviertem 4G wieder angerufen werden und das obwohl das HTC 10 (in D) kein VoLTE kann. Mal ein Lob an Debitel hier.

Woher nimmst du diese Info? Das HTC 10 kann in der freien Variante in Deutschland problemlos VoLTE [emoji28]

Das habe ich u.A. hier gelesen, kann sich aber vielleicht auch auf Vodafone beschränken

Ich habe es auch mit dem Samsung S7 getestet und beim S7 funktioniert VoLTE und bei meinem freien HTC 10 nicht. Ich habe auch keinerlei Optionen in den Einstellungen bezüglich VoLTE oder WLAN Calls beim HTC, welche beim S7 aber vorhanden sind. Es nützt auch kein Karte rein/raus oder Neustart. Es geht einfach nicht. Kann also definitiv nicht problemlos VoLTE

Was Brauch ich um VoLTE bei einem freien Gerät und o2 Netz zu tun? Weil ich find dazu nichts in den Einstellungen. Das einzige was mir oft auffällt ist, dass sich die mobile Datenverbindung oft abschaltet beim telefonieren. Egal ob LTE, H(+), 3G, 2G oder Edge. Hab das erst seit dem letzten 2 Updates beobachtet.

Bei mir ist immer noch 2.41.401.41 drauf, aber auch keine Möglichkeit das aktuelle aufzuspielen.

Manual system update instructions:

If you are outside of Wi-Fi coverage, or the update is not found, you may perform a manual system update via USB connection to a PC. This process requires that you download and install HTC Sync Manager first in order to get the proper drivers. WARNING: Performing the system update manually will delete all information from the device. Ensure all information is backed up before proceeding. See the Help & How To section of this website for more information on backing up your device contents.

Performing the ROM Update:
1. Download and save the HTC 10™ ROM update to your PC.
2. Connect your device to your PC via the supplied USB cable.
3. If the device is not recognized by the PC, ensure you have HTC Sync Manager installed and then disconnect and reconnect the device from the USB cable.
4. Once the device is properly recognized on the PC, locate the HTC 10™ ROM update that you downloaded. Double-click on the file to launch the system update wizard.
5. Follow all of the system update wizard instructions shown on your PC.
6. Once the update is complete, click Finish in the Wizard and the device will reboot.
7. Once the device reboots, the initial setup wizard will appear.
8. After the initial setup process is complete, open Play Store , tap the Menu icon, then select My apps and ensure all installed apps are updated.
9. After initial setup and updating all apps, the device is ready for use.
Note : If the ROM update wizard fails to recognize the device, close the wizard and then follow the steps below:
From a powered off state, hold VOLUME DOWN while powering on the device to access download mode.
Connect the device to the PC while in this state and attempt the ROM update again.
To exit download mode manually, use the volume keys to navigate to reboot and press the POWER button to select it.

Das ist USA only !!! Es gibt für Europa und den Rest der Welt kein Update !!!. Vielleicht noch eins nächstes Jahr. Bei HTC müssen sogar Sicherheitsupdates erst sprachlich angepasst werden. Was auch immer die damit meinen.

.. hat jemand von uns vielleicht, "Oreo" bekommen bzw. ein Rom mit Oreo installiert ? mit letztem Update (2.41.401.41) läuft mein Handy einwandfrei.. aber auf "Oreo" bin ich auch bissele neugierig ?

Oreo kommt vermutlich im ersten Quartal 2018.
Das erste Custom ROM wird bereits getestet: Twitter

Gibt zwar schon Oreo Custom ROMs ohne Sense, aber die habe ich mir noch nicht angesehen.

Im übrigen gilt bei HTC Amerika first. Hat man ja gut 2017 verfolgen können. Das hat HTC allerdings gut bei Twitter zu spüren bekommen.
