bisher gibts aber noch keine offizielle Ankündigung (mit den Änderungen) und das OTA-Image für die LTE-Version fehlt auch noch:

Google Pixel Watch Update - March 2024​

Hello Pixel Watch Community,

All Pixel Watch devices will receive the March 2025 software update, which includes Wear OS 5.1, beginning today. The rollout will continue over the next few weeks in phases depending on carrier and device. Users will receive a notification on their watch once the software update becomes available for their device. Our next planned update will target June 2025, and quarterly thereafter.

What’s Included

Loss of Pulse Detection: US expansion

• Loss of Pulse Detection on Pixel Watch 3 recently received U.S. FDA clearance, expanding this first-of-its-kind feature to people in the U.S. beginning at the end of this month.

Menstrual Health Support:

• Available via Playstore update for the Pixel Watch 3, the Fitbit app now makes it more convenient than ever to track your menstrual cycle. You can easily log periods, view your current cycle status, and see predictions for your next period.

Media Controls Upgrade

• Make it easier to control audio content from the watch with control types based on content being played (such as Podcasts within YouTube music).

Step Count Enhancements

• Within this release we have updated our steps algorithm to take our step tracking to a new level by focusing on precision even in challenging situations. Whether you're pushing a shopping cart, navigating in a wheelchair, or going on walk/run with a stroller, this improved algorithm ensures your steps are counted with exceptional accuracy.

Expansion of Auto Bed-Time Mode on Device

• Auto Bedtime detects when users are asleep or have awaken and automatically controls bedtime mode on their watch.

Bei mir ist noch nix zu sehen. Geht das Zwangsupdate (auf das Uhrensymbol tippen) nicht mehr?

Bei mir auch so. Auf Uhrensymbol tippen tut bei mir auch nix. Vielleicht ist das Update auf den Servern noch nicht verfügbar. Kam die letzten Male wenn es Updates für die Uhr gab auch immer 1 - 2 Tage nach den Smartphones.

Also meins kam gestern nachdem ich auf das Uhrensymbol glaube so 2 oder dreimal draufgeklickt habe.

Hast Du die LTE-Version? Da gibts wohl bisher wohl noch kein Update (bisher sind nur OTA-Images für die WLAN-Version der PW3 und PW2 gelistet).

Bin gespannt, wann das Update für die LTE Version eintrifft, kam ja sonst immer zeitgleich. Hoffentlich macht Googel da nicht einen auf Samsung, bei denen die LTE Version teilweise Monate hinter der Bluetooth Version liegt.

Ein etwas versetztes Update gab es IMHO schon mal bei den älteren Modellen der Pixel Watch.

@SoniQ hab ebenfalls die LTE Version. Werd wohl noch etwas warten müssen...

Bislang ist mir nichts neues großartig aufgefallen. Zyklustracking ist für mich nicht interessant.
Einige Watch Faces wurden in Sachen Lesbarkeit optimiert. Zumindest bei "Aktiv" ist die Uhrzeit im AOD-Modus besser ablesbar.

Kann man die Watch auch updaten, wenn sie nicht mehr mit einem Smartphone gekoppelt ist ? WLAN ist ja noch verbunden, sollte dann auch ohne Phone gehen oder ?

@Olley bei mir lag die Uhr gestern tatsächlich im Haus auf dem Puk fürs Update und ich hatte das Smartphone mit draußen im Garten. Es sollte keine Verbindung zum Smartphone bestanden haben.
