Skins, Wraps & Decals für das Nexus 6

Hab gerade noch diese Firma gefunden. Finde es vom Design sogar noch besser als dbrand. Vor allem ist nur das M vom Logo ausgeschnitten und nicht der Ganze Kreis. Außerdem gibt es noch Fullbody Skins

Leider gibt's die Naked Serie nicht für's Nexus

Slickwraps ist nicht unbekannt. Kann sie aber überhaupt nicht empfehlen.

Schlechter Support & Service. Lange Lieferzeit & die Qualität ist in meinen Augen deutlich schlechter.

dbrand bietet bewusst keine Skins für die Seitenteile an und auch der Kreisrunden Ausschnitt für das Logo ist bewusst gewählt. Habe sie schön erklärt auf Facebook. (Haptik, Scharfe Kanten,...)

Hier nochmal die Erklärung von Dbrand warum sie kein "M" Ausschnitt & Full Body Skins haben.

Let us begin by making one thing very clear: it’s not always about having more coverage. It’s about having smarter coverage. Coverage that benefits the user with a superior experience.

First let’s discuss the ‘M’ cutout, as a lot of users request this on a regular basis. The fact of the matter is that we originally prototyped our Nexus 6 skins with a precision cutout for the ‘M’. What we quickly discovered was that there were two major drawbacks: it felt sharp under your finger and had a tendency to peel at the middle of the ‘M’. By offering a Moto cutout which is a full circle, and can be filled inversely with a differently styled ‘Accent Skin’, the result is a smooth feel that has zero potential to peel over time.

Now let’s dive into the frame skin. Putting a frame skin on the Nexus 6 is by far the worst design choice a skin company could ever make. At its thinnest, on the surface surrounding the power button, the frame skin would be 1/50th of an inch wide. Even on the left side of the device, at its thickest point, the frame skin would measure in at just 1/10th of an inch wide. What does this mean for you? A skin that will easily peel off after just a few trips in and out of your pocket.

Furthermore, there is a plague that haunts the skin industry: sharp edges. Because of the tapered screen on the Nexus 6, the front skin doesn’t suffer this issue. Because of the metal frame on the Nexus 6, the back skin is recessed far enough that you never feel a sharp edge. At this point, you may be asking yourself, “Why would a company include a frame skin that does nothing but feel sharp in the hand and peel off at the first sight of a pocket?” The answer is quite simple, humans…

So, und das ganze hat sich heute bestätigt (Slickwraps). Habe dort für ein Familienmitglied einen Skin bestellt, da es diese nicht wo anders gab. Dachte ich mir, teste ich mal einen N6 Skin und hab etwas zum vergleichen.

Beide Skins wurden falsch geliefert, ich hab ein Nexus 4 anstatt Nexus 6 Skin bekommen! Herzlichen Glückwunsch...

Ich kenne sie auch nur sehr kulant. Wobei ich es schon erlebt habe, das Skins 4 Tage unterwegs aber auch 6 Wochen...

Auf Reddit gibt es ein aktuelles Posting zu dem warum und wieso mit der "M" Geschichte:

Wenn ich das richtig verstanden habe, war es so, dass das M nicht immer an der gleichen Stelle war, weshalb der Ausschnitt ggf. falsch gewesen wäre. Ihre Lösung scheint nun zu sein, einfach den Kreis mit dem M komplett mit einer Folie zu überkleben, so dass das neue M automatisch durch den Ausschnitt im großen Skin entsteht.
Man sieht also nicht mehr das original M, sondern eine darüber liegende Folie. Dadurch ist nicht nur das Problem mit Position gelöst, sondern gleich noch eine weitere Möglichkeit der Anpassung entstanden.
