A heads up for all 4.2.2 releases
As you know, Google made 4.2.2 public a while ago but it wasn't completed. It still had a couple of hardware drivers missing, but JBQ, the head of the AOSP, gave his OK for builds to roll out.
Yesterday the AOSP has been fully completely, all the needed drivers are supplied. We have updated AOSPA immediately of course.
Now i want everyone to listen up. YOU ABSOLUTELY NEED TO BE UP TO DATE REGARDING GOOGLE BOOTLOADERS AND RADIOS, WHICH ARE NOT PART OF THE ROM. Or else your device will be incompatible, unable to make calls perhaps or who knows what.
You can get it straight from Google:*https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images and install via fastboot. Or, the easier way perhaps, you go to XDA and get them as flashable ZIP files.
Either way, this concerns all 4.2.2 roms out there that include Googles new 4.2.2 hardware drivers.*
Update:
FYI all mako / maguro users:

maguro: (Fastboot version) http://db.tt/yxxP8EsX
Notes:
*- Best way to check your bootloader/baseband versions is to reboot to fastboot mode and check the version numbers there.
*- Flashing bootloader/baseband doesn't erase data as your /data partition is separate.
*- You don't have to reflash PA if you're already on the newest version.
*- There's no need to wipe the cache if you're only flashing the bootloader/radios.
*- PA does not include the bootloader/radio, you'll have to flash them separately. (as a rule of thumb, most custom ROMs do not include them, whereas most stock/OTA ROMs do)
