[ROM] CodenameSammy 4.2 & 1.5.1 +++TouchWiz+++ Google Speed+Samsung Candy

Intentions:

Our goal is to enrich Googles Jelly Bean experience with cherry picks from Samsungs successful TouchWiz Nature UX environment. It is not a ported TouchWiz ROM, it is based on the very stable and customizable CodenameAndroid ROM.

We decided to include some apps, which were ported by us and other xda-members and some apps from google play to get many Samsung features. We think it is useful and completes the Android experience, but some of you might think it’s ‘Bloat’. So we decided to put many apps in data-partition. That way they can be updated through Google Play or uninstalled like regular apps.

Installation:

1. Flash via Recovery or ROM Manager. It will reboot automatically. You don't have to flash GAPPS.

Wiping is only needed if you should encounter unexpected problems.

Known Bugs:

- Touchwiz Launcher Landscape mode: doesn’t work properly. Please use Smart Rotator to disable Rotation for touchWiz App only. 1. Open Smart Rotator 2. Select TouchWiz home and set ‘Auto for all’. 3. Select ‘TouchWiz home’ once again and set ‘Portrait’. 4. Now exit the app and make sure Rotation is locked (check symbol in notification drawer

- Weird Shadows: remove the apps with the broken shadow from the home screen. Adding them the next time everything will look fine

Jo, das hatte ich jetzt auch mal für fünf Minuten drauf. Damit bekommt man wirklich ein S3 Feeling!
Alles funzte und sah gut aus. Leider laggte es manchmal ein wenig beim Wechsel zwischen den Homescreens (aber wirklich minimal).
Für Samsung Fanboys wirklich schönes ROM! Aber, hey, wir haben ein Nexus!
Trotzdem cool, dass es machbar ist!
(und ja, das ROM ist wirklich fast 500MB groß!)

Also bei mir laggt nichts beim Screenwechsel evtl. viel im Hintergrund am laufen?
Was die aktualität angeht, werde ich versuchen sie so frisch wie möglich zu halten, da mir die ROM selber sehr gut gefällt.

Das einzige, was hier vom S3 ist, sind doch letztlich die angefügten Apps oder? Das Design sieht ja bis auf den launcher "normal" aus, oder sehe ich das falsch?

Echt klasse rom muss ich sagen...
aber war das bei euch auch so als ihr die geflasht habt im cwm das die rom einfach automatisch rebootet hat??
normal rebootet man ja manuell.

Ist nicht jede ROM eigentlich ne Abwandlung vom eigentlichen ROM des Entwickler-Teams? Was unterscheidet denn die etlichen CM oder AOKP - ROM's voneinander? Die meisten sind auch nur gethemed und nutzen dann entweder den Nova oder Apex Launcher, hier wird eben der TouchWiz genommen und versucht alles auf S3-look/feeling zu trimmen, was ja auch soweit ganz gut gelungen ist, wie ich finde.

Ja finde auch das es sehr gut gemacht ist...finde das dieses Rom und miui mal ne gute Abwechslung ist vom ganzen holo look.

Allso unter Einstellung - designs ist schon ein Galaxy theme vorinstalliert.
Damit hasste auch die Fenster so bleulich.

Habe die ROM jetzt auch mal getestet.
Auch mit dem Galaxy Thema habe ich Holo-Dialogfenster.

Ansonsten sind die angefügten Apps ganz nett und auch die Idee, diese in der data partition unterzubringen ist super.

Bleibe aber vorerst bei MIUI.

Ist ja auch die erste Version des. ROM's da wird sicherlich noch bisschen was an Feinschliff folgen. Wirst es sicherlich hier mitbekommen wenn das Theme kompletiert ist

Ich muss sagen, dass ich positiv überrascht bin von der Rom! Ich bin von PA 2.53 mal auf diese Rom gestoßen und sie sagt mir optisch sehr zu. Leider fehlen mir einige Features von ParanoidAndroid und deswegen werde ich wohl wieder zu PA wechseln, sobald sie komplett auf AOSP umgestiegen sind...

Dennoch ist das Testen dieser Rom empfehlenswert!!

funktioniert einwandfrei, gerade am laden mit 1,3 MB/s
