- added bluewall firewall - RC > General UI > Less Notification Sounds
--- limits the number of notification sounds an app can play per X seconds
--- so like 1 GTalk ping/30s, but notifications will still be coming in
- added "Device options" link in Settings for devices that have an app to tweak device-specific settings
--- right now I believe only tuna/aries/p1c have these, all credit goes to CM trees where these apps came from
- improved weather code, shouldn't bother you everytime it updates weather now
- added "copy to clipboard" option in "Share" dialogs throughout ANdroid
- added ability to toggle to "new" and "original" music controls on the lockscreen

devices changes
- p5: removed OTA assert, shouldn't be any more problems flashing
- tuna: fixed vold.fstab file not being added properly, which led to MTP issues, core FCs
- tuna: looks like the CM9 kernel was included with this build by mistake (due to the buildbot using inline kernels and some misc testing). It doesn't affect anything, just letting you guys know we know! Enjoy their code

a note about linaro (warning, tech mumbo jumbo ahead)
These builds do NOT include the new Linaro optimizations. The optimizations don't increase the speed of Android by 100%, nor do they inject butter. They use a newer toolchain to compile Android, which has more optimizations. The Linaro people have also made the proper changes in Android code to allow builds to be compiled with -O3 instead of -O2 flags (think of it as another pass of code optimizations).

Please do not ask us whether we will include them in the future. We like speed as much as the next guy, but we want to make sure that it doesn't break ANYTHING. When/if it's ready, you'll know.

Bin Grad von der 38 auf die 39 und habe wie schon beim Sprung von 37 auf 38 überall fc's der Markt macht gar nix mehr und beim booten stürzt jedes mal Rom control ab.

Ich hab keinen Bock auf full wipe

Ja. Mehr als 20-25 Minuten brauche ich eh nicht und das Telefon ist wieder komplett eingerichtet...

Ach, immer wieder die selben Fragen... aber Jedders Antwort ist nicht schlecht:

Nein, nur wenn ausdrücklich verlangt. Oder etwas geht schief.

Ich mache immer FullWipe, da sonst die aktuelle Version mit der Vorgängerversion nicht vergleichbar ist. Jede Version wird bei mir unter den gleichen Voraussetzungen (FullWipe) geflasht.

Mal schauen, wie lange es dauert bis jemand schreibt: FullWipe ist nicht nötig und sinnlos...

Nachdem ich jetzt die gapps neu geflasht hab und noch paar andere Sachen gelöscht und wieder drauf gemacht hab geht alles nur Rom control macht noch FC beim booten.

Ich hab fast 2 Jahre lang das defy mit CM7 nightlys gehabt und nur ca jedes halbe Jahr nen wipe gemacht.
Da lief immer alles Top

Wenn ich n fullwipe mache dauert das ca Ne Stunde bis alles wieder da ist.
Ich mach nix mit titanium Backup dann macht der wipe wenig sinn

Die ersten zwei Beiträge wurden aktualisiert, viel spaß mit der B39!

Titanium Backup nutze ich nur für die App DATEN mehr nicht,
um einen Full Wipe kommst du wohl nicht rum

Ich hab fast 2 Jahre lang das defy mit CM7 nightlys gehabt und nur ca jedes halbe Jahr nen wipe gemacht.

CM ist aber nicht AOKP - die Änderungen der jeweiligen Builds sind halt wesentlich größer als es bei den Nightlies (z.B. CM9) der Fall ist.

Es kann gut gehen, muß es aber nicht. Und aus genau diesem Grund empfiehlt Roman:

highly recommended: wipe data/factory reset in recovery

Wer dieser Empfehlung nicht folgt, ist schon irgendwie selbst schuld, wenn Probleme auftauchen.

Habe das letztens in einem Video gesehen aber das ganze war auf CM9...

Habe dazu im Changelog oder in den Features leider nichts gefunden!

Kurzer Bericht nach ein paar Stunden: B39 (bei mir immer zu erst mal ohne Fullwipe) läuft stabil. Keine FC's alle Apps klappen, sync usw.bestens. Top!

Gibt es für diese ROM eigentlich die Möglichkeit Profile zu erstellen wie zB. Home: WLAN an, Bluetooth aus, usw...?

In Black ICE sind die Profile drin, aber ich finde sie immer noch nicht flexibel genug. Versuch mal das Programm "Llama" aus dem Market, meiner Meinung nach das flexibelste Profil-Programm.

Heute schrieb ich noch in einem anderen Thread, dass ich der AOKP abgeschworen habe, da diese bei mir ab Build 33/34 nur Probleme machte.

Nun hab ich mir heute testweise die Build 39 ohne großartige Hoffnungen geflasht und nun ist sie seit Stunden drauf und läuft so hervorragend, dass ich gar keinen Grund sehe, sie wieder runter zu schmeißen.

Und mit dem Wetter in der Statusleiste, das ist so genial - danke an derPianist.
