Hi everyone,
Allow me to clear up any confusion. There is definitely plenty of space for your apps from the 16GB! We've added a Q&A about it which I'll provide below.
I hope this helps. Best-

Let us explain here how the storage for apps works on your Fairphone.
From the 16GB included in your phone, we have to account for some partitions:
2GB is used to store most of the Android-related stuff. This is invisible in the phone’s normal interface.
1GB is used to store some key files (very small) of your apps (the rest can be stored in the 13GB partition). This is called "Internal Storage."
13GB is used for your content (and the big files of your apps). This is called "Phone Storage."
Some tips to arrange your phone memory: To get an overview of how much memory you are using, go to System Settings > Storage.
By default, some apps store all their information in the 1GB partition. Make sure you set your preferred install location to “Phone Storage”, go to System Settings > Storage > Preferred install location and set it to "Phone Storage."
You can check for particular apps how this is arranged if your go to the App Info (System Settings > Apps > Find your app).
There are apps (eg, Clean Master) that help you optimize this process.
If you have installed a big app completely in your Internal Memory you can always transfer most of it to your Phone Storage by using System Settings > Apps > Find your app > Click on Move to Phone Storage.
And an example: Skype. The app uses 43MB of your memory.
If your preferred install location is set to “Phone Storage” (the 13GB partition), then this is how it gets stored:
• 4.46 MB gets stored in your Internal Memory (1GB). This is labeled in this overview as “App” and “Data.”
• 38.59MB gets stored in your Phone Storage (13GB). This is labeled in this overview as “Phone Storage App” and “Phone Storage Data.”
To sum up, there should a sufficient amount of space for your apps!
Das klingt doch gut, oder?
