KangXperiaProject
bringing AOKP to Xperia

AOKP is an awesome custom Android firmware. (just like MIUI and CyanogenMod).
AOKP is based on AOSP and looks as vanilla as possible, and focusses on lots and lots of user-friendly features. What makes it different from CM is that there are many more user-customizable features.​

AOKP is not officially supported on any of the Xperia smartphones. So we made a Kang XperiaProject team comprising
Supervenom , Championswimmer, Pikpok, mikegapinski
We maintain sources from which we build (not winzip porting) AOKP for all the Xperias.
We are not any great developers (all teenagers). We are just trying to provide users with more ROM options

Our work is not possible without using sources from FreeXperiaProject.

Changes to the UI / framework / functionality of the ROM is the work of Team Kang

1. Copy ROM zip and Gapps to sdcard
2. If coming from stock, flash kernel that has recovery using fastboot (not needed if you have recovery)
3. Boot phone, go into recovery (press vol-up(2012) or back(2011) when led is purple)
4. IF COMING FROM SOME OTHER ROM, make factory wipe then go into mounts/storage and format system (not needed if updating AOKP)
5. install zip from sd card then flash gapps if you want them (kernel is flashed automatically with zip for 2012 models, for 2011, fastboot flash the kernel)
6. reboot and enjoy

ich hatte es schonmal drauf,auch mit Apps ausm Market versucht, aber bringt ja alles nix, wenn keine Treiber für die Cam vorhanden sind und sie einfach nicht erkannt wird, da kannste Cam-Apps laden wie du willst

Hatte die B2-R2 drauf! Funktionierte soweit ganz gut abgesehen von der Kamera! Mal sehen was es nach dem CameraFix für CM10 jetzt hier tun wird!

Habe es auch mal geflashet und bin wirklich überrascht. Läuft vom Gefühl her flüssiger als cm10. Ich habe einfach mal den Kamera fix von cm10 geflashet und siehe da, die Kamera funktioniert. Sogar face unlock geht. Anscheinend ist der kernel/die Boot img von cm10 konpatibel mit dem/der dieser Rom.

Bei all den ROMs (CM und AOSP) stört mich weniger die nicht funktionierende Kamera als vielmehr das nicht funktionierende HDMI out. Das geht selbst unter CM9.1 nicht.

Deshalb nutze ich lieber DualCore "for daily use".

Was hast du denn alles runtergeladen ?
Die Rom V4
und aus der rom die boot.img auch geflascht
und wo bekomme ich den Kamera fix ?

Wenn ich das Boot.image unter MacOSX flaschen will wo finde ich dazu eine Anleitung ??

PS hatte ja die V4 drauf aber wieder runter genommen weil die Kamera nicht funktionierte. Also ohne vorheriges Boot.image zu flaschen

Du musst die Boot IMG nicht extra flashen, der kernel wird, wenn du die ZIP flashst mitgeflashet ^^ habe einfach den Kamera fix von cm10 runtergeladen, den findest du bei xda

Habe es jetzt installiert und was fällt mir auf ?
am anfang hat man die Auswahl zwischen Nova Launcher und Trebuchet genau dort ist der screen verzogen also doppelt zu sehen ???
