Hallo, hab mir die 1.9.23 runtergeladen....aber ich kann nicht auf Deutsch umschalten...Unter Sprachen taucht Deutsch gar nicht auf....
Bin da jetzt ein bisschen ratlos...
Habe diese Version installiert : miui_ger_GALAXY_S_1.9.23_FULL_EN_DE.zip

hat sich erledigt....zu blöd die richtige Datei auszuwählen

Kann es sein, dass du Referrer aus hast oder Java scripte verbietest oder sowas? Denn hinter jedem der Download link wird bei mir tatsächlich der download der entsprechenden Datei ausgelöst. Einfach mal nen anderen Browser probieren?

Edit: Ok, ich vermute mal du hast das vom Handy aus versuchst, dann ignoriere was ich geschrieben habe.
Edit 2: Sehe was du meinst. Ich nutze auf dem Handy auch immer Opera (da funktioniert der Download) aber mit dem Standard Browser startet er nicht den Download sondern läd nur die .php runter.

Disclaimer: I AM NOT A ROM CHEF OR THEMER AND I DO NOT TAKE ANY CREDIT FOR THIS ROM, I JUST MASHED UP STUFF I LIKED INTO ONE ROM.

Decided to share my daily driver MIUI concoction. It is really nothing fancy. I'm just tired of bloated roms filled with apps I will never use and keep running in the background eating CPU cycles and taking space.

This ROM is mostly suited for European users, with some system stuff tweaked for Euro-usage, like GPS.

Based on the brilliant miuiandroid.com release. Stripped some stuff out, added some stuff. It is just a clean and "vanilla" MIUI as I would like it to be by default.

+ Gingerbread keyboard from Market so you can add your own language to it easily
+ RomManager and Android Terminal
+ Defaults to CET (European) timezone
+ Extended settings and 4 way reboot mod.
- MIUI Stats and forum front-ends
- Stock wallpapers and other crud
+ Dark MIUI clock skins

Will add more once I remember them all

The only included apps are shown in the Tools menu.

- Removed preview images from default theme file, saved another megabyte, haha.
+ build.prop: Default time zone set to Europe/Amsterdam (CET)
+ build.prop: Disabled displaying of "debug mode being enabled" when it's on in the notification menu (it is on by default) and connected via usb
+ Added an "ienet settings" backup file on sdcard, for quickly setting things up, it disables animations, data monitor, scanning for open wireless networks and some other stuff that tends to run in the background, it disables gps in the browser and enables auto full screen, music player won't download/display lyrics or fade songs in/out, camera is set to 5mp, auto focus, geotagging is enabled, enables the big toggles and there's some more but I forgot, just select "2011-09-12_20-26-23" and restore that in the MIUI backup app, once restored do a reboot so all settings load properly! The are my personal preferences. You can of course make your own minimal settings backup and restore those on top of new installs.

16/9/2011 Changelog V7:
* New screenies to reflect which apps are in the ROM (see the tools menu) nothing other than those listed in the tools menu are included
* New 1.9.16 base
* Updated some small stuff and packages
* Updated included backup file with my settings, just restore the "2011-09-16" backup and reboot
+ Extended settings mod V1, seems to be ok after some testing

23/9/2011 Changlog V8:
* New 1.9.23 base (data is on by default again!)

* Reverted to stock kernel as it now sports Voodoo colours
- Extended Setting mod. Seems to cause weird issues for me. I might add it in later but not sure yet.

Never download a file if there is no ienet_miuiandroid.com-X.X.X-hashes.txt file yet, the hash file will be uploaded after the main .zip!

+ Added proper build.prop

* Moves all earlier version into the respective directories.

Download it here. Flash it after you've flashed the regular rom.

Also feel free to use whatever download manager you got if that helps your speed. We have enough bandwidth to spare.

Note: For non-European users please replace /system/etc/gps.conf and /system/etc/telocation.db with these files.

General FAQ:
Q: The phone is lagging like mad after first flash.
A: This is normal, let the phone settle for a few minutes.

Q: Why can't I run things as root anymore?
A: Since MIUI 1.9.9 you have to enable root permissions. Open up the "Superuser" app, press the menu soft key, click settings and enable root permissions.

OBSOLETE SINCE V9 as it comes with multi languages, once I get them all going.
Q: How do I add more input languages to the GB keyboard?
A: Download them from the market or directly from here.

Extended settings issues FAQ:

Q: How do I remove the Google logo from the notification bar?
A: Open up "MIUI Control" app and go to "Carrier options" and then disable "Display carrier logo".

Q: The wall paper scrolling doesn't work.
A: Seems to be an extended settings mod issue, to fix; open the menu on the mainscreen and goto Launcher. Disable and enable wallpaper scrolling and it should work. This only has to be done once.

Q: I've set an alarm but there is no icon to show it is enabled.
A: Seems to be another extended settings mod issue, to fix; open MIUI Control app, go to Clock options and disable and enable the alarm icon. This only has to be done once.
