Hallo zusammen,

ich möchte Euch heute kurz diese ROM von Nilac8991 vorstellen - WARUM ? Weil sie mich in Sachen Performance und Einstellungsmöglichkeiten überzeugt hat.

Die Resurrection Remix ROM basiert auf CM, SLIM.OMNI und der ursprünglichen Remix ROM. In diese ROM sind mit der Zeit immer mehr und mehr der MODs in den Quellcode überführt worden.

Ich erspare mir jetzt mal sämtliche Features aufzuzählen - wer aber daran interessiert ist schaue bitte im Original-Thread vorbei.

Die Installationsanleitung entsprich im Großen und Ganzen der Anleitung aus dem CM 12 oder CM 12.1 Thread. Achtet bitte darauf, dass Ihr die richtige TWRP aus den o. g. Thread benutzt, damit Ihr die passende Partionierung auf dem Handy habt.

Hi Leute,

Nilac hat den nächsten Iterationsschritt von Resurrection Remix herausgebracht. Wie er in seinem post schreibt, kommt es zu Inkompatibilitäten mit unserem SGS+ mit der neusten Android Version. Daher musste er Teilbereiche durch alten Code ersetzen.

Aus meinen Tests für's ADC Team kann ich dieses Problem bestätigen. In unserem Fall mußte lediglich die alte Update-Binary im kompilierten *.zip File durch eine aus der letzten funktionierenden ROM ersetzt werden.

mitllerweile ist die neue Resurrection fertig - als wichtigste Neuerung kann man hervorheben, dass "SWIPEN" über die Tastatur (gesturetyping) wieder funzt

Als Tipp, falls ihr nach einem DIRTY-FLASH Probleme mit den GPS (Google PlayServices) habt, zurück in die Recovery und WIPE CACHE / DALVIK / SYSTEM (Factory-Reset) und doch neu installieren...

Hi
Hoffentlich habe ich die folgende Frage/Problem im richtigen Thread gestellt.

Sowohl bei diesem ROM als auch beim "LMY47V-5.1.1" von Christopher83 habe ich ein

Problem mit Skype und Front Kamera . Das heisst die angerufene Person sieht mein

Bild sehr ausgezoomt !! (Allerdings sieht das Bild bei Viber normal aus.)

Bin ich langsam am verzweifeln woran es liegen solte.

Kann vieleicht jemand freundlicherweise mir beim beheben des Problems helfen , oder den Sachverhalt bei seinem skype überprüfen ?

von dem Problem habe ich noch nichts gelesen - auch drüben im XDA-Forum - ich werde mal schauen, ob ich gleich mal mein Testhandy greife und Skype draufspiele und werde dann berichten...

Allerdings kann ich Dir nicht viel mut machen, wenn der Fehler auf SGS+ Seite liegt, da der Entwickler so langsam die Lust verliert für so ein altes Handy zu entwickeln, aber trotz der nicht mehr ganz so hohen Motivation versorgt er die restlichen Team-Mitglieder von Zeit zu Zeit mit neuen Releases, die allerdings zumeist CM 12.1 Änderungen beinhalten...und wenn es ein Fehler ist der auf CM 12.1 Seite liegt sind die Chancen hoch, dass der Bug behoben wird

Ich selbst habe auch nichts gefunden ,ausser so etwas ähnliches was Nexus 5 oder

Nexus7 (2013) betraf !

Dabei und mitten in meiner Verzweiflungen habe ich gestern das Gerät Total Platt

gemacht und mit Odin nochmal ein original Rom geflasht ( mit der hoffnung , etwa

irgend welche Restruckstände in System zu entfernen !! ) , danach habe ich nochmal

diesen Custom Rom gefläscht ,aber leider Ergebnisslos !!

Das Problem vereinfacht ausgedruckt : In meinem Gerät sieht mein Bild normal aus

,aber die Gegenstelle sieht nur meinen Kopf obwohl ich etwa 60 bis 70 Zentimeter

Abstand zum Kamera habe.

Mittlerweile hatte Nilac eine mit dem Archi-Mod optimierte Version seiner letzten ROM herausgebracht.

Hier findet Ihr die durchgeführten interessantesten Optimierungen:

Bitte fragt mich nicht im Einzelnen, was sie bedeuten - ich müßte auch googlen... :blushing:

- Optimized for speed yet more all instructions - ARM and THUMB (-O3)
- Optimized for speed also parts which are compiled with Clang (-O3)
- Turned off all debugging code (lack of -g)
- Eliminated redundant loads that come after stores to the same memory location, both partial and full redundancies (-fgcse-las)
- Ran a store motion pass after global common subexpression elimination. This pass attempts to move stores out of loops (-fgcse-sm)
- Performed interprocedural pointer analysis and interprocedural modification and reference analysis (-fipa-pta)
- Performed induction variable optimizations (strength reduction, induction variable merging and induction variable elimination) on trees (-fivopts)
- Didn't keep the frame pointer in a register for functions that don't need one. This avoids the instructions to save, set up and restore frame pointers; it also makes an extra register available in many functions (-fomit-frame-pointer)
- Attempted to avoid false dependencies in scheduled code by making use of registers left over after register allocation. This optimization most benefits processors with lots of registers (-frename-registers)
- Tried to reduce the number of symbolic address calculations by using shared “anchor” symbols to address nearby objects. This transformation can help to reduce the number of GOT entries and GOT accesses on some targets (-fsection-anchors)
- Performed tail duplication to enlarge superblock size. This transformation simplifies the control flow of the function allowing other optimizations to do a better job (-ftracer)
- Performed loop invariant motion on trees. It also moved operands of conditions that are invariant out of the loop, so that we can use just trivial invariantness analysis in loop unswitching. The pass also includes store motion (-ftree-loop-im)
- Created a canonical counter for number of iterations in loops for which determining number of iterations requires complicated analysis. Later optimizations then may determine the number easily (-ftree-loop-ivcanon)
- Assumed that loop indices do not overflow, and that loops with nontrivial exit condition are not infinite. This enables a wider range of loop optimizations even if the loop optimizer itself cannot prove that these assumptions are valid (-funsafe-loop-optimizations)
- Moved branches with loop invariant conditions out of the loop (-funswitch-loops)
- Constructed webs as commonly used for register allocation purposes and assigned each web individual pseudo register. This allows the register allocation pass to operate on pseudos directly, but also strengthens several other optimization passes, such as CSE, loop optimizer and trivial dead code remover (-fweb)
- Sorted the common symbols by alignment in descending order. This is to prevent gaps between symbols due to alignment constraints (-Wl,--sort-common)

mittlerweile gibt es eine neues Update Ihr könnt es im OP herunterladen oder über OTA das Update erhalten, wenn Ihr die vorherige Version installiert hattet. Was mir neu aufgefallen ist, ist der neue APP-DRAWER - der wirkt richtig genial

mitllerweile ist die Version 5.4.7 erschienen, die nun hoffentlich das Problem mit den abstürzenden Google Play Services behoben haben sollte. Ein Patch diesbezüglich brachte noch nciht die gewünschten Erfolg - daraufhin wurde zusätzlich die ursprünglich Pixeldichte wieder hergestellt.

- OTA Updater is now hidden in the app drawer so it's available only through Settings

Das xposed Framework gibt es für Android 5.1 nicht, zumindest nicht in einer offiziellen Version. Die Entwickler wollen es zunächst für 5.0.x optimieren und danach unofficial-Versionen für 5.1 stabilisieren. Diese müssen komplett neu geschrieben werden, weil sich die alten Versionen nicht unter 5.1 nutzen lassen. Eine der unofficial-Versionen ist die von romracer. Die funktioniert bei vielen Nutzern recht gut, verursachte bei mir aber im Zusammenhang mit der Nutzung von xprivacy Bootloops (sowohl bei meinem i9001 als auch bei meinem i9070p). Da mir xprivacy für den täglichen Einsatz sehr wichtig ist, bin ich noch mit KitKat unterwegs.
Im Übrigen gefällt mir aber die RR fürs i9001 außerordentlich gut

was muss ich noch beachten ?
weil es hängt im bootloop ,hab nur die XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4 installiert
und die xposed-v71-sdk22-arm-by-romracer-20150816 geflasht ...dachte es geht

Genau wie bei mir. Wir müssen uns wohl in Geduld üben und auf die nächste Alpha warten. Oder die Final ;-)
