Heißt nur, dass eventuelle Fehler (Abstürze, FC, Reboots) nicht als Bug reports akzeptiert und gemeldet werden können, da ART als Runtime nicht offiziell von Google (demzufolge auch von den großen alternativen Customs wie Omni, PA, CM, Slim etc) als Standardruntime genutzt wird.

habe heute auch einfach mal auf ART umgestellt. bis jetzt läuft alles problemlos und ich kann definitiv eine geschwindigungssteigerung feststellen.

I fear my Asylum devving has reached the end of the road. I am making this announcement with a heavy heart, but there are a couple of factors that influenced me to reach this decision.
1. not enough time
DU is taking much much of my time lately; I had spent almost three weeks getting the Find 7a port going. Not long after that, us at DU did a huge all-round update of fw/b, fw/av, fw/native, everything hardware related , system/core and vold etc etc. This resulted in two broken builds, one of them mine (yuga). The three of us have been trying to fix it for a week now, with no success...yet. This will likely get even worse once the L drops, which is not so far away now.
2. overwhelming feeling that nothing is happening over at Omni Gerrit
Omni started off with a lot of enthusiasm and a great number of eager developers, but gradually ground down almost to a halt. Days go by, sometimes even a week before something important gets merged. This as a result of Max remaining as the only properly active senior guy there, and because a lot of mid-tier devs left due to their contributions needing months to get a review, and sometimes never.
The only alternative for me would be to switch to CM-based Asylum, but I'd rather be caught dead than make that switch, not after what CM Inc did to people while transitioning to real business.

Mein SmartieNote läuft ziemlich rund. Ich beobachte auch eine stetige Verbesserung durch NichtFlashen..... Vielleicht warte ich einfach mal auf AndroidL, falls das noch jemand für das gute N7000 machen will. Obwohl Slimkat mich auch immer wieder so nett anlächelt

Ich bin vor einer Weile von Omni zu Slim und danach zu SlimSaber gewechselt und sehr zufrieden. Schade, dass es mit Omni fürs N7000 nicht weitergeht, aber auch bei Slim ist siet einiger Zeit kaum noch was Device-spezifisches dabei.
Für mich ist eigentlich nur wichtig, dass ich eine stabil laufende Version ohne bekannte Security-Lücken habe, und die liefert Slim/Saber 4.4.4 . Das Note tut alles was ich brauche, ich habe Docks für Auto und Desk und eine Gürteltasche - bevor ich das alles für lau verkaufe (oder an meine Kinder weitergebe) darf es ruhig noch ein paar Jahre arbeiten - wenn o.g. Kriterien erfüllt sind.
Für mich ist eigentlich nur wichtig, dass ich eine stabil laufende Version ohne bekannte Security-Lücken habe, und die liefert Slim/Saber 4.4.4 . Ich bin zu DirtyUnicorn gewechselt was echt viele coole Funktionen hat. Leider habe ich trotz FullWipe relativ viele Probleme (Random-Reboots, nicht mehr aufweckbar etc..). Könnte aber auch an ART liegen. Mal sehen wie sich das so entwickelt

Dirty Unicorns unterstützt derzeit kein ART.

Hallo ihr lieben Ich teste seit 14 Tagen die Dirty Unicorn und bei mir läuft sie mit ART sehr gut dazu benutzt ich noch den Tipp mit der internen Speicher Vergrößerung von 2 GB auf 6 GB und das Note flitzt super

Hallo zusammen,
ich habe da mal eine Frage: Gibt es die Möglichkeit, das Einschalten des Handys durch die Hardware-Taste vorne auf dem Telefon zu deaktivieren?
Ich habe das Problem, dass mein Handy in einer Klapphülle steckt und es, sobalt es in meinerUmhängetasche steckt, dadurch ständig angeht und am Akku saugt bzw sich dann aufhängt.
Außerdem stürzt bei mir dauernd der Prozess "com.android.systemui" ab.
Vielleicht hat ja jemand eine Lösung für beide Probleme.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1702675 soll amgeblich ausreichen. Zumindest auf meiner SlimSaber mit Xposed Torch funktioniert es allerdings nicht.

Es gibt dafür noch ne Alternative Lösung ohne Xposed, falls es da Problem macht
1) Öffne ein Dateimanager wo man ROOT Zugriff hat.
2) Gehe zum Ordner: /system/usr/keylayout/
3) Öffne die Datei "gpio-keys.kl" mit einem Text Editor.
4) Lösche "WAKE" wo "key xxx HOME WAKE" steht (xxx durch die zahlen ersetzt, weil es bei jeder rom anders ist.)
5) Handy neustarten und sich über das Ergebnis freuen!
