First Time Installation Steps

1. you must be running a safe kernel (emmc_cap_erase disabled)

2. drop into recovery

3. wipe everything, including your posterior (i.e. do a full-wife)

4. flash RootBox

5. flash 4.2.2 Gapps

6. reboob


How to upgrade RootBox versions:

1. Download RootBox update

2. Flash RootBox update

3. Flash 4.2.2 GAPPS (obligatory!)

4. Wipe Cache (Optional)

5. Wipe Dalvik Cache (Optional)

6. Reboot

Bugs

PA option in Settings/Hybrid Settings: you have to tap ParanoidAndroid Settings at the top for the options to appear

Unfortunately, browsers FC for now, not only for n7000, but for other devices as well

CPU frequency sliders in Performance Settings don't work (known CM10.1 bug), but you can set them using Rom Toolbox, SetCPU or similar apps from PrayStore

Rootbox is currently being updated to being compiled using Google 4.7 toolchain, so there may be some other bugs, but please do keep
in mind that this is a work in progress, and things will only get better given time

Browser FC > anderen Browser nehmen

Der Rom Cook (Bajee) ist zur Zeit in Examensphase und kann sich nur unregelmäßig um die Entwicklung kümmern. Das ist die Aussage auf g+ - in seiner github ist er aber doch sehr aktiv. Abwarten

Inwiefern unterscheidet sich diese Rom von der Jelly Beer oder Fredis Rom? Wenn man mal so fragen darf Weil an sich bin ich mit meiner Jelly Beer super zufrieden was Akku, App Einstellungen usw angeht und habe keinen Grund zu wechseln ^^ Jedoch juckt es mich so ein bisschen in den Fingern haha

Hybrid menu in Settings is now fixed thanks to AA's ingenuity, but tablet mode still produces SystemUI crash, so stay out of it.

Use phone and phablet mode instead.

Welche Apps meinst du? Deine Apps aus dem Store -nein.
Du brauchst nur Rom + GApps flashen.
Wipe cache + wipe dalvik cache ist optional. Kann man machen, musst du aber nicht.

What are those ribbons

A lot of questions about the AOKP Ribbon feature I've been working on. It is a series of "Ribbons" full of you're favorite Apps, Shortcuts, and AOKP Actions. These Ribbons are all scrollable and can house as many targets as your heart desires. Ribbons have found their way into many of your frequently used areas I.E. Lockscreen, Notifications tray, and Quick settings. Your favorite AOKP options are all here, including long press and custom icon options. I've also created a feature rich Swipe Ribbon that gives you every option the AOKP team could think of, from background color and opacity to custom icons, app label options and more. The really nice part about using the SystemUI as the platform for this Swipe Ribbon opposed to a User app is reliability. No notification is needed to keep it alive. It is always available just like your NavBar or Status Bar. I don't want to say for sure when release will be but I think our first nightly will be very exciting and worth flashing...

Tablet UI scheint zu funktionieren

Quick Update:

1) Tablet UI FC fixed. Some minor overlapping left to fix.
2) Pie behaviour Fixed
3) Ribbon Bottom switch should be fixed as well.
4) Ribbon timeout and buttons reset will be fixed in next release - thanks to Steve
5) PA Colours - needs to be fixed*
6) App menu UI Flow - needs to be fixed (3 dots menu)
7) Notifications Shortcuts FC - needs to be fixed
8) Profiles toggles not getting refreshed - needs to be fixed
9)If no one noticed, I merged a new feature from CM - Power sounds. You'll find it in Settings>Sounds
10) Fix every other minor bugs

As you can see, I'm aware of most bugs but I just don't have the time for it. If you think you can fix a few things in my absence, don't hesitate to send me a pull request. I'll try my best to merge the pull request as fast as I can. For those submitting translations pull requests, I kind of got fed up since you guys were submitting patches that were breaking the builds. Before submitting a patch, make sure you built with it first. The current bugs in RB are very minor IMO but if you feel it's too much for you to handle, then I suggest you move on to something better. And the rest of you guys, enjoy the latest nightly.

Dieses Rom ist dem Gefühl nach, das schnellste, fluffigste das ich bisher auf menem Note hatte. Die Vielfalt der Einstellmöglichkeiten ist enorm und man braucht einige Zeit um alles zu durchschauen.Zwei "Bug´s" ??? sind aufgetreten : kopieren von einer Datei mit dem Rootexplorer - ich kann die Datei nicht markieren sondern Abfrage mit welchem Browser soll die Aktion durchgeführt werden - abgebrochen.
Neue Versuch: Rom Toolbox Dateimanager: beim ersten Versuch die Datei zu kopieren, macht das Note ein reboot. Beim zweiten Versuch klappt´s.


Goo.Manager sagt kein Update -Post 17 sagt neues Update !!

Total Commander läuft auch rund. Mehrere Dateien kopiert, ohne Probleme.
