Ist denn das jetzt ein offizielles release für crespo direkt? Oder ein Bastler der es vom gnex geportet hat?

scheint ne offizielle nightly zu sein. aber die bastelversionen laufen imho noch besser nach meinem empfinden. bin jetzt nach n paar stunden dauertest zurück zur version von sykomaniac

Es gibt News. Da ich selber immer bei diversen AOKP JB Roms gefragt habe, ob es was offizielles ist hier nun eine offizielle Ankündigung von höchst offizieller Stelle (AOKP.co):

The State of AOKP

We've been a bit more quiet than we've meant to be lately, and decided it was time to catch you, the user, up with what's going on in Team Kang Land.

We hope you've been enjoying our nightly builds. If you didn't know we had nightly builds, we're very sorry. We've been posting them on http://www.androtran...developer=AOKP. Several of you have reported problems there -problems such as extreme slowness and the builds downloading with the wrong file extension on your phones - these problems are being worked on and we expect them to be resolved. If your device doesn't seem to have as many builds as some of the others, it's due to unforeseen issues we had with that particular device/build for that device, we promise we are not playing favorites!

Now, some announcements....

First, a ‘build’ is coming. We’re getting very close to an official, non-nightly JB build. Just throwing that out there with no ETA to let you know that it is a real thing that will happen, pretty soon.

Second, a new IRC channel for support has been created - join #aokp-support on Freenode for any questions you have regarding the use/problems you encounter with the ROM. We realize that #teamkang can get a little hectic (and lets face it, caustic) sometimes, but that’s the place for irreverence - #aokp-support will be strictly business, and will have rules enforced. All of that is ‘in progress’ right now, but soon will be there for you, with friendly Team Kangsters and fellow users there to help you get your AOKP questions answered.

Third, we are currently working on a major revamp of aokp.co. We’ll soon have a wonderful new site that will be more streamlined and useful!

Fourth, we are seeking device maintainers! Here are the rules for becoming a device maintainer for us: “Maintainer must:

be in “good standing” with the community be comfortable with gerrit/git submit clean, easy to read code keep the device they are maintaining “up-to-date” until at least the next release of Android (big release: GB, ICS, HC, JB) submit original work, or at the very least keep authorship of all commits not written by the maintainer

Final decision will be made by a vote.”

If you’re interested, please hang on to that interest - we will begin taking applications sometime shortly after we release build 1.

weiß jemand woher der doch merkliche "größenverlust" seit der nightly vom 17.aug kommt? denn 30MB unterschied find ich schon verwunderlich o0
 
Bin jetzt auf CM10 Nightly, berichtet mal bitte wie der neue Build so ist.

Hat es schon wer am Laufen? Werd`s jetzt flashen :)
 
Erster Eindruck:

AOKP kommt gewohnt sauber daher. Man verzichtet auf unnötige APPS, die Installation ist recht klein, trotzdem sind die meisten gewohnten Funktionen an Bord!

Eine Ausnahme ist die "Back2kill" Funktion, die leider nicht zu finden ist. Außerdem gibt es einen FC wenn man beim ROM Control in die Perfomance Settings will. Hier hilft ein anderer Kernel Abhilfe, zum Beispiel der Air Kernel.

Die Theme Engine ist wieder an Bord und das System läuft bis jetzt angenehm flüssig und stabil.

Zur Akkulaufzeit kann ich noch nix sagen, gefühlt zieht er schon recht ordentlich am Akku, man wird sehen....

Zum Vergrößern anklicken....

auch mit dem air kernel gibts den fehler in der performance... stell das ganze am besten mit der NSTools app ein.

akkulaufzeit ist AOKP-typisch phänomenal gut. hab jetzt nach 11,5h (meist WLAN, 2-3 telefonate und ca 70min display on) noch 66%

Ich habe jetzt nach knapp 24 stunden noch 40%. Habe die ganze zeit w lan an, habe insgesamt sieben mal telefoniert und jetzt auch ein paar bilder geschossen. Mir fällt aus dem auf dass das handy in the deep sleep ziemlich wenig akkuverbrauch hat. Bin bis jetzt sehr zufrieden für die erste version ziemlich gut!!!

bin mehr als positiv überrascht... habe nach einem Wochenende Österreich von Freitag 13:00 bis Sonntag 19:00 noch 23% Akku: viele Fotos, 2:47h GPS tracking, mobile daten aus, teils schlechte verbindung

geiles teil!

Wollte ich auch gerade posten. Auch wenn das hier niemand mehr zu nutzen scheint, ich freue mich. Hat ja fast ein Monat gedauert....
