Hello all guys This weekend Was a valuable test of reliability, battery, and general fluency:
Overclocking 1ghz, automatic brightness, 40 minutes offline browsing (navigon), 150 sms sent / received, a dozen calls, 20 GPS fixes with gpstests at various places in Rome and many other cities to test the gps .... all offline with no internet connection:
20% in 2d, 15h, 46min

Also in GPS Fix with AGPS at cold, after 4 / 5 seconds fixes almost anywhere
without AGPS fix at cold on average between 30 and 40 seconds. with 8 / 9 satellites seen almost immediately ...

I am very pleased, I'm solving the last things and looking for some optimization, the next release will virtually ve pre_final: D Now I take the train tomorrow ill tell further updates!

2.7.0 pre-final will be released in the weekend or at max in monday!

Doing final testing and latenti tweets and a pair of new mods

Ist zwar schon eine Woche her, klingt aber vielversprechend. Vorgestern hat er mir auch geschrieben, dass es dieses Wochenende veröffentlicht werden soll.
Die Themes, die es dazu gibt, müssen dann natürlich wieder angepasst werden, weil die framework verändert wurde. Metamorph-Themes werden weiterhin funktionieren, da ja nur die pngs ausgetauscht werden und zum Release wird es noch dazu ein passendes Theme von luca und mir geben

Ich bin immer noch sehr gespannt und freue mich. Mit GPS hatte ich aber noch keine Probleme. Wenn ich GoogleMaps zur Navigation nutze wird das Handy wohl ordentlich warm. Sehr schnell sind es dann 44 Grad.
Aber funktionieren tuts gut

Was wurde denn in der framework geändert?

Genau weiß ich es nicht, aber es ist bei manchen Versionen von CM auch so, dass sich die framework-res.apk verändert, wie von RC1 zu RC2 und so weiter.

Moin,

da man ja die Version von Motorola net gebrauchen kann hab ich mich mal an ein Custom Rom getraut gestern. Soweit war auch alles ok bis auf den Market da läuft irgendwie immer was schief.

Hab heute morgen dann nochmal alles neu gemacht da es gestern doch leicht drunter und drüber ging. ^^

Folgendes hab ich gemacht:
1. Full SBF raufgeflasht mit RSD Lite 4.6
2. Vulnerable Recovery Only mit RSD Lite
3. Gewechselt zu Open Recovery 3.3
4. Nochmal Cache Wipe/Dalwik Wipe
5. Dann Apply Update mit FroyoMod 2.6.1 aus dem XDA Thread
6. Wieder Cache gewiped
7. Handy rebooted bei Google angemeldet

Wenn ich nun im Market was installieren möchte dann lädt und lädt er aber es passiert nichts. Market ist auch noch 2.2.7 hab gelesen es gibt 2.3.6 aber wie man update weiß ich nicht.

Ich schätze mal da ich nichts über einen Fehler gelesen hab betreffend Market und FroyoMod das ich irgendwo etwas falsch gemacht hab. Die Frage ist für mich halt nur wo.

Den würd den FroyoMod wirklich gern benutzen der läuft ansich echt super.

Edit: Hat sich geklärt hab ne älter SBF Datei genommen und dann ging es auf einmal und hab auch erst FroyoMod 2.6.0 applied

Habe nach langer Miui Zeit heute mal den Froyo-Mod ausgetestet und bin begeistert, wie schnell das System läuft.

Nur eine Frage: Bringt LauncherPro bessere oder schlechtere Performance?

So aus CM6/CM7 Zeit habe ich ihn auch noch in sehr guter Erinnerung, nur kams mir so vor, als wenn der vorhandene Launcher hier schon richtig schnell läuft. Deswegen dachte ich, es könne ja sein, dass man hier schon zig Seiten vorher in dem Thread zu dem Entschluss gekommen ist, dass Launcher X oder Launcher Y besser ist.

Ich habe bis vor kurzem auch LauncherPro gehabt, die kostenlose Version. Die läuft wirklich gut, nur bleibe ich lieber bei meinem ADWLauncherEx, ich brauche einfach einen horizontalen Drawer, daran habe ich mich zu sehr gewöhnt :-D

Ich nutze den LauncherPro, allerdings nicht wegen höherer Geschwindigkeit (tut sich nix im Vergleich zum Stock Launcher, finde ich), sondern weil ich die LP-eigenen Widgets so mag

Gut, mein Handy ist jetzt eingeschickt, wenn's wieder da ist, muss ich mal schauen. Tendiere im Moment zu Stock, da ich die Widgets vom LP eh nicht so brauch.

Nachdem ich alle möglichen GB mods ausprobiert habe, bin ich wieder zurück zu froyo... und mein Steinchen läuft wieder superschnell.

Mir gefällt dieser mod, da er im Gegensatz zu CM6 noch weiter gepflegt wird.

ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass ich nochmal so sehnsüchtig auf ein update für ein ROM warte...eigentlich bin ich ja komplett zufrieden mit 2.6.1....eigentlich

Of the 4 keyboards, Motorola and HTC one have Prediction test ALSO ON HW KEYBOARD;

SYSTEM APPLICATIONS
To make more room in /system partition, I had to remove the swithcable apps via "froyomod extras", so I will give you the choice via this post:

Launcher 2D
This have automatic rotation and 7 homescreens

Launcher 3D
Have 7 screens enabled, is used by default in the Rom!

Honeycomb Music
This beautiful player is by default included in the ROM!

Music MOD
This is the Music Mod, provided also in Cyanogen and in many other mods, have a LOT of features and good loking widgets!

Music Stock
This is the stock Music player in official Froyo by MOTO, this have the particularity to use the "Now Playing" screen as lockscreen during the media playing!

STOCK PHONE
This is the Stock Moto Phone.apk, it has Crystal Talk and works 100% well
BUT:
Has some glitches caused by the fact that it's not tought for an AOSP framework, so if you want Crystal talk you have to live with them!

Phone MOD
Used by default in the rom, A LOT of features, it's here if you want to revert back

Gallery 2D
This is the new gallery 2D introduced while ago, based on QuickPic and with blazing velocity

Gallery 3D
This one is an all-new gallery 3D, faster and with MOTION GESTURES:
You can ENABLE/DISABLE IT BY PRESSING VOL-DOWN;
PULL CELL DOWN TO ZOOM IN, UP TO ZOOM OUT
TILT LEFT/RIGHT TO SCROLL THE PHOTOS!


FIXES

By default, Froyomod 2.7.0 has DSI FIX enabled BUT:
It will make the phone a little slower in the scrolling and graphic performances, and can create some screen tearing in long scrolling and some other gliches

if you DO NOT want to live with them:
REMOVE FIX DSI

So you will have DSI errors and kernel panic (that are rare but present with arabic kernel) but better performances overall

If you want to Reapply it:

Ist die gut und auch empfehlenswert?

Es ist nicht irgendeine ROM, es ist die Beste! Und mit der Meinung bin ich nicht alleine
Hier gibts keine Probleme wie in den 2.3 ROMs.

Ich liebe dieses ROM und alles funktioniert perfekt.

v2.7 werde ich nachher testen und meinem Geschmack anpassen.
Ich muss dem luca noch mein ColorTheme zukommen lassen.
Ein bisschen EpicBlue gibts da ja schon

Aber die DSI Errors sind auch dabei oder? (Was ja eigentlich schon ne rhetorische Frage ist..)

Was genau macht denn die ROM so gut?

Dsi Workaround ist an. Also leichtes Tearing vorhanden. Wie überall.
Die ROM läuft einfach smooth, schnell und hat keine Speicherprobleme. Habe meist so 50-60Mb freien Ram und zwar ohne iwelche Scripte die iwelche Apps abschießen.
Screens kannst du om Themethread bei mir und anime ansehen. Bei xda natürlich auch.
Standard Theme ist halt so wie Original.
