Guten Tag,

wollte mich nun auch mal mit meinem M8 an das Thema Root bewegen.
Habe mir den Thread dieser Rom durchgelesen und da bin ich auf etwas gestoßen was ich nicht ganz verstehe.

Ich möchte mein Handy erstmal nur Rooten und eine Custom Rom Installieren.
S-Off benötige ich denke ich nicht.

Im Thread steht folgendes:

Du musst deine Firmware aktualisieren, um diese Rom nutzen zu können. Dieser Vorgang setzt S-OFF voraus!

Mein M8 ist derzeit im Orginal Zustand und hat Lollipop installiert.
Für diese Rom wird also trotzdem S-Off vorausgesetzt?
Habe ich das so richtig verstanden?

Mit Lollipop Firmware kannst du das Rom hier auch mit S-on nutzen.
