Einige von euch haben es vielleicht mitbekommen: Nachdem ich lange Zeit MIUI (SoulMIUI und xMIUI) auf meinem Desire hatte, habe ich den JB-ROMs VJ 10.1 und Cyanomod007 eine Chance gegeben, musst dann aber eingestehen, dass das Desire dafür nicht ausgelegt ist bzw. die beiden ROMs für den Alltag nur bedingt geeignet sind.

Nun habe ich MildWild CM-8.0 JG Stable am laufen und bin froh wieder ein schnelles und vor allem Stabiles Alltags-ROM zu haben.

Ich habe es allerdings ein wenig modifiziert, indem ich unter "/system/etc/init.d" die Dateien "05mountsd", "06mountdl" and "10apps2sd" entfernt habe und nach dem Flashen der ROM das INT2EXT4+ Skript von CronMod drübergebügelt habe. So hat man ausreichend Speicher (Ext4-Partition vorausgesetzt) für Apps.

Mit welchen HBOOTs ist das gute Stück eigentlich kompatibel? Wildwild antwortet im XDA-thread da ja auf eine "oder"-Frage mit "No"...

Welche CM7-basierende Alternativen würdest du denn stattdessen empfehlen?

da es mich bisher (optisch) nicht überzeugt bin ich immer noch bei cyanomod007.
bin aber am schauen....nächste woche....jetzt am we brauche ich das phone.

vielleicht findet sich ja was.....

Wenn es dir um's Aussehen geht, dann kann ich dir xMIUI empfehlen. Für MIUI gibt es massenhaft Themes!

hatte dauernd fc .... ging mit meinem phone garnicht....
(xmuiu theme ändern ist ein muss ;-) )
