Bevor er es das neue CWM 3.0 (mit ext4 Support) nicht auch für uns gibt und es ein richtiges CM vom Kali gibt steig ich nicht um.
Wobei Gingerbread schon echt sexy aussieht und sich gut anfühlt.

Ich warte mal bis nach Weihnachten, dann wird geflasht... Bis dahin sind sicher auch die CM Settings drin...
Ich wills ja eigentlich auch nur wegen der Display-Off-Animation

habs kurz geflasht, ist jetzt nicht weltbewegend anders, statusleiste sieht ein bisschen anders aus, aber ja, launcher gefällt mir nicht!

Wenn man eine andere Tastatur als die neue Gingerbread verwendet, hat man dann trotzdem die neuen Positionier-/Selektierfunktionen?

Habt ihr eigendlich schon dies entdeckt und evtl. schon jemand getestet?

MAJOR thanks to Apache14 for the great help, I wouldn't have done it without his guidance.

And of course thanks to kali- and the rest of the cyanogenmod team for their tremendous work. Just adding this here for anyone that wants to play with it. Edit: Oops, forgot one more gentleman. Cheers to AdamG for LatinIME (additional dictionaries added), i basically "stole" this from his Oxygen ROM.

Everything pretty much works, apart from the Camcorder. Camera works fine, so is USB.

Included GoogleApps as usual (apart from the latest market), and the APN List.
Wipe everything (dalvik, data, cache etc) first. Reboot once more after the initial reboot, to make Wifi work.

Problem: Can't update Superuser from the market since it resides in /system, so you're gonna have to use the one bundled.

Ein kleines Update dieser Version!

New release...

Camcorder is the only thing that doesn't work (still).
Facebook + Twitter works + SYNC
Setupwizard and Locations work
Network problems fixed (hopefully - thanks a lot Doktaphex for coping with me to find a solution and for being the guinea pig ). Had to use Oxygen's libhtc_ril.so so yeah, thanks again to AdamG.

Full wipe is advised, but you can try flashing on top of the previous one.

Please, leave your feedback. Need to verify if the network problems are gone for good with this one.

Vielen dank für den Upload, doch leider nicht die Standart gingerbread bootanimation. Diese sieht aber auch sehr schick aus!

so leute, was funktioniert den nun an der neuen version alles und was net?
Ich hatte gestern mal kurz die Version wo nur die gapps beigefügt wurden.

Was mir auch aufgefallen war, Konsolen Emulatoren roms gehn net.
z.B. der SNES Emulator, wenn ich eine rom lade, startet es kurz und es kehrt dann zum homescreem zuzück und oben in der statusleiste ist das symbol der App, aber wenn man es ausführt, passiert nix. Kann mal jemand testen der die aktuellste Version hat, ob das problem noch besteht?

Edit: achja bei der Version die ich hatte ging sowohl GPS wie auch aGPS nicht.

Das wird wohl eher daran liegen, dass die App generell nicht auf 2.3 läuft.

Neues Release ist da!

New release.

As usual, I built this from the CM repo, using Kali-'s kernel for ACE.
Unfortunately we have to wait for CWM 3.0.0 for nandroid to work properly, didn't have time to look into it.

Changes:
- Camera is now 8MP
- Fixed Gtalk FCs
- Removed ADW - Reverted back to stock Gingerbread Launcher
- (Hopefully) fixed Market protected apps not showing
- Fixed Market not downloading properly after the initial boot.
- (Hopefully again ) Fixed the exchange issue. Need feedback, especially on this one.

This is the last build I'll be releasing, as it's a bit too time consuming and it also seems that Kali-'s gonna start working on it. An official release should be on the way.

Edit: It's advised to wipe. Don't forget to reboot once more after the first boot, for wifi to work.

hatte mir eben das neueste geflasht, kann aber leider kein backup per cwm machen! Error bei "mount system". War vorher leider nicht der Fall. Ist das bei euch auch so?
Bin jetzt erstmal zurück zu Revolution HD 2.0.1

Hab ein wenig Fail gelesen ^^
Hier trotzdem der Post von mir, auch wenn ich ein wenig verwirrt war und cwm in dem Moment für irgendein Backuptool gehalten habe
Habe wohl nur das Wort Backup gelesen

Naja hast schonmal versucht ein Backup von Unix auf Windows einzuspielen? Das Backup selber klappt, danach klappt aber nix mehr

Zwar ein extremer Vergleich, aber ich glaub du weißt worauf ich hinaus will

Soll nicht böse gemeint sein, aber so ein Tool ist ja nicht für solche Zwecke gedacht.

Ich kenne zwar Dinge, wo soetwas sinnvoll wäre:
-SMS
-GameScores (AngryBirds etc.)

Aber ein neu einrichten ist dann doch viel einfacher und für SMS gibt es ja bessere Methoden, um diese zu Backupen.

Habe sie kurz angetestet, soweit funktionierte alles, Exchange kann ich im Moment nicht testen.
